    "jobDescription": "Occasional<p><b>JOB TITLE:  </b>Banquet Bartender                </p><p><b>DIVISION: </b>Food and Beverage</p><p><b>REPORTS TO:  </b>Banquet Manager                         </p><p><b>LOCATION: </b>Solitude Mountain Resort</p><p><b>CLASSIFICATION:  </b>Occasional / Seasonal / Hourly</p><p></p><p><b>POSITION:  </b></p><p>We currently have openings for Seasonal Banquet Bartenders for our Summer Banquet operations within the Food &amp; Beverage Department. As a Banquet Bartender, your primary responsibility will be to deliver exceptional customer service while serving a variety of classic and signature cocktails, as well as beer and wine, to our clients during private events. Your duties will include warmly greeting customers, understanding their preferences, addressing inquiries, offering menu recommendations, and expertly preparing and serving beverages.</p><p></p><p>We are thrilled to expand our team and provide our employees with the outstanding perks and benefits that Solitude Mountain Resort is renowned for. Join us in creating memorable experiences for our guests while enjoying the unique advantages of being part of our team.</p><p></p><p><b>SPECIFIC JOB REQUIREMENTS:  </b> </p><ul><li>Must be professional, friendly, social, and outgoing </li><li>Must maintain a clean and organized working environment  </li><li>Must be reliable and punctual </li><li>Must have experience with POS systems, bar tools &amp; equipment</li><li>Knowledge of cocktails, beer, and wine</li><li>Must be able to work at a fast pace, multi-task, and accurately recall information  </li><li>Previous bartending experience required, Private Event bartending experience preferred</li><li>Sips &#39;n Tips Certification - required</li><li>Food Handlers Permit - required</li></ul><p></p><p><b>JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:</b> </p><ul><li>Collect and serve customers drink orders and accurately log them in our POS system </li><li>Create and maintain a comfortable, friendly atmosphere  </li><li>Maintain a clean and organized bar </li><li>Maintain beer, wine, and liquor inventory </li><li>Offer recommendations or suggestions </li><li>Verify IDs of any customer that appears under the age of 35 </li><li>Log and track berg/clicker numbers daily (including spillage, “mis clicks”, etc.) </li><li>Balance the bank at the end of each shift </li><li>Cashier duties using POS system </li><li>Assist guests with information about the resort and local area </li><li>Build a good rapport with banquet/wedding guests </li><li>Must be able to stand for long durations and lift up to 30lbs</li></ul><p></p><p><b>EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYMENT </b>  <br />Solitude Mountain Resort is an equal opportunity employer.  It is the policy of the Company to recruit, hire, train, assign, promote, and transfer the best qualified individual for each job opening and provide such employment opportunities without regard to sex, race, religious creed, color, gender, gender identity, gender expression, national origin, ancestry, citizenship, nationality, age, physical disability, mental disability, medical condition, marital status, pregnancy, sexual preference, sexual orientation, genetic  information, veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by applicable state or federal law.
