    "description": "<p>Warehouse Trainer – Job Description</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Job Summary</p>\n<p>The Warehouse Trainer plays a critical role in onboarding, educating, and developing warehouse personnel to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality operations. This position is responsible for delivering hands-on training, reinforcing operational standards, and supporting continuous improvement.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Shift Hours</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Day Shift Available</li>\n<li><span>Mon - Thurs 7:00am to 6:30pm / Friday 8:30am to 11:00pm </span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Training Responsibilities</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Conducts onboarding and orientation for new warehouse employees.</li>\n<li>Delivers structured training on equipment use, safety protocols, and warehouse procedures.</li>\n<li>Supports cross-training initiatives to build team versatility and operational resilience.</li>\n<li>Assists in evaluating trainee performance and providing constructive feedback.</li>\n<li>Collaborate with supervisors to identify training needs and skill gaps.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Operational Duties</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ensures training materials and equipment are available and functional.</li>\n<li>This leads to safety demonstrations and daily equipment checks (e.g., forklifts, tuggers, trailers).</li>\n<li>Verifies trainees’ understanding of quality standards and delivery protocols.</li>\n<li>Maintains accurate training records and documentation.</li>\n<li>Communicates updates on policies, procedures, and performance expectations.</li>\n<li>Participate in continuous improvement efforts and share feedback from trainees.</li>\n<li>Supports conflict resolution by reinforcing communication and teamwork principles.</li>\n<li>May assist with equipment requests and operational audits.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Required Skills &amp; Abilities</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Strong interpersonal and coaching skills.</li>\n<li>Clear and confident verbal and written communication.</li>\n<li>Ability to motivate and engage learners across experience levels.</li>\n<li>Conflict resolution and team-building capabilities.</li>\n<li>Organizational skills for managing training schedules and documentation.</li>\n<li>Familiarity with warehouse documentation (e.g., inventory logs, delivery slips).</li>\n<li>In-depth knowledge of warehouse safety and operational procedures.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Education &amp; Experience</p>\n<ul>\n<li>High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree preferred.</li>\n<li>Minimum 2 years of warehouse or logistics experience.</li>\n<li>Prior experience in training, mentoring, or instructional roles is a plus.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Physical Requirements</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Active presence on the warehouse floor (standing, walking).</li>\n<li>Ability to lift 25–30 pounds as needed.</li>\n<li>Regular participation in safety walks and equipment inspections.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>GFA is an equal opportunity employer, and we value diversity of all kinds.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>GFA does not discriminate based on race, sex, religion, national origin, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, disability, age, or any other category protected by local, state, or federal laws.
