The Behavior Specialist reports directly to a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and provides clinical support to the group homes located in Ocean and Monmouth county. Salary: $55,000 - $61,000 What we look for in YOU: Assist BCBA with the assessment and treatment of challenging behaviors. Consultation on ISP Plan Goals/Objectives, as well as environmental supports. Training, oversight, and monitoring of direct support professionals with respect to behavioral support and therapeutic interactions. Data collection and inputting data into excel database. Input notes regarding behavioral services. Provide specific number of hours of services per consumer in required settings per week. Conduct observations and integrity assessments of BCBA's current BSP per Individual. #Sponsored Qualifications You'd make a great Behavior Specialist if you have: Master's in behavior analysis, psychology, or a related field and Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Certification At least 2 years providing behavior support to individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder or Intellectually /Developmentally Disabled clients Be 18 years of age or older (required). Be able to attend ten days of paid onsite orientation on weekdays. Have a valid non-provisional driver's license. Solid interpersonal skills required to work as an effective member of an interdisciplinary team Demonstrated experience and skills in presentations Demonstrated effective verbal and written communication experience Devereux has a zero-tolerance policy for abuse and maintains policies and procedures to systematically reduce the risk of abuse to occur in our organization.
