    "description_html": "<p>Shodair Children’s Hospital is seeking a <strong>Behavioral Intervention Specialist</strong> to join our Comprehensive School and Community Treatment (CSCT) team at <strong>Bryant Elementary School</strong>. This full-time, school-based position provides direct support to students experiencing serious emotional disturbances (SED) by working collaboratively with a CSCT therapist, school staff, and families to implement mental health interventions and support students’ success in the classroom and beyond.</p><h3><br></h3><h3><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></h3><ul><li>Provide direct care, supervision, and support to students based on individualized treatment and behavior plans.</li><li>Assist students in developing and practicing social skills, emotional regulation, and coping strategies.</li><li>Support students with therapeutic classroom activities and assignments.</li><li>Collaborate with therapists, school personnel, and families to ensure consistent intervention and communication.</li><li>Participate in crisis intervention using safe, non-violent techniques when necessary.</li><li>Document student behaviors, progress, and interventions in accordance with policy and billing requirements.</li><li>Coordinate and participate in structured summer and holiday programming, including transporting students as needed.</li><li>Administer school-time medications during non-traditional school sessions.</li><li>Serve as a positive role model for students, promoting safe, respectful, and age-appropriate behavior.<br></li></ul><h3><strong>Ideal Characteristics:</strong></h3><ul><li>Empathetic and patient, with a strong commitment to student-centered care.</li><li>Effective communicator with students, families, and interdisciplinary teams.</li><li>Skilled in de-escalation, problem-solving, and behavior management.</li><li>Reliable, organized, and able to multitask in a fast-paced school setting.</li><li>Culturally responsive and respectful of confidentiality.</li><li>Physically active and able to participate in student activities, including field trips and play.</li></ul><h3><strong>Why Join Shodair?</strong></h3><p>At Shodair, you’ll be part of a mission-driven team that provides hope, healing, and compassionate care to Montana’s youth.
