This role is responsible for ensuring that suppliers consistently meet GeoSpectrum’s standards for quality, delivery, compliance, and risk management, while actively promoting continuous improvement and supplier development.</p>\n<p>This position will help transition supplier quality from a reactive, issue‑driven approach to a proactive, data‑driven, and risk‑based program. Over three decades, our core values have shaped a supportive and creative environment that emphasizes employee engagement, technical excellence, and strong customer relationships. </span></p>\n<p><span>To learn more about who we are and what it’s like to work at GeoSpectrum, we invite you to watch our company video by visiting </span><span><a href=\"https://www.geospectrum.ca\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">www.geospectrum.ca</a></span>.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 18pt; font-weight: bold\">Responsibilities</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-weight: bold\">Supplier Quality Program Development</span><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Supplier Assessment &amp; Qualification</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Conduct initial and periodic supplier assessments to evaluate quality system maturity, regulatory compliance, production capacity, and overall supplier risk.</li>\n<li>Maintain supplier risk ratings and the Approved Supplier List (ASL).</li>\n<li>Ensure assessment findings are effectively integrated into sourcing decisions, inspection strategies, and audit planning.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Supplier Audits</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Plan and perform risk‑based supplier audits, including both on‑site and remote quality system and process audits.</li>\n<li>Document audit results, issue corrective actions, and verify the effective closure of findings.</li>\n<li>Support customer, regulatory, and parent company audits that involve supplier quality activities.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Supplier Performance Monitoring</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Establish and maintain key supplier performance metrics, including:\n<ul>\n<li>On‑Time Delivery (OTD)</li>\n<li>On‑Quality Delivery (OQD)</li>\n</ul>\n</li>\n<li>Analyze performance trends, identify systemic issues, and escalate supplier underperformance as required.</li>\n<li>Prepare and present supplier performance reports to internal stakeholders and leadership.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Corrective Action &amp; Supplier Development</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Manage and maintain the supplier Non‑Conformance Report (NCR) database.</li>\n<li>Lead the Supplier Corrective Action Request (SCAR) process, including containment actions, root cause analysis, and verification of corrective action effectiveness.</li>\n<li>Drive supplier development initiatives for high‑risk or underperforming suppliers.</li>\n<li>Collaborate closely with Procurement to align corrective actions and improvement plans with contractual and commercial objectives.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Source Inspection &amp; Risk Mitigation</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Define source inspection requirements based on supplier risk level, product criticality, and historical performance.</li>\n<li>Coordinate source inspections internally or through approved third‑party inspectors.</li>\n<li>Ensure inspection results are reflected in supplier performance evaluations and risk assessments.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Cross‑Functional Collaboration</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Serve as the primary quality interface between GeoSpectrum and its suppliers.</li>\n<li>Partner with internal teams to identify supplier‑related risks early and mitigate impacts to cost, schedule, and quality.</li>\n<li>Lead supplier‑related NCR investigations, lessons learned, and continuous improvement initiatives.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 18pt; font-weight: bold\">Qualifications</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Post‑secondary education in Quality, Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related discipline</li>\n<li>A minimum of five (5) years of relevant professional experience</li>\n<li>A minimum of two (2) years of project management experience</li>\n<li>Possession of a valid Canadian passport</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span> </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 18pt; font-weight: bold\">Physical Requirements</span></p>\n<p>Ability to conduct on‑site supplier visits and utilize appropriate measurement and inspection equipment as required.</p>\n<p><span> </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 18pt; font-weight: bold\">Security Requirements</span></p>\n<p>All candidates must be eligible to apply for and maintain Canadian Controlled Goods and Canadian Government Security Clearances.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 18pt; font-weight: bold\">Total Rewards </span></p>\n<p>We recognize that our people are our most valuable asset.
