Tackle these responsibilities alongside a team of creative, highly motivated individuals who are passionate about their work and ready to collaborate to achieve outstanding results. Our ideal team member is passionate and progressively seeking more responsibilities to expand their expertise.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Coordinate all phases of the design process in full life cycle projects </li>\n <li>Generate creative design solutions within the functional parameters of a project</li>\n <li>Translate concepts and information into images</li>\n <li>Execute the process of preparing and completing usable construction document detailing solutions</li>\n <li>Coordinate the selection of materials, furnishings, fixtures, and equipment</li>\n <li>Manage contract administration responsibilities</li>\n <li>Assist with creation and management of project schedules</li>\n <li>Develop & present appropriate technical solutions to stakeholders</li>\n <li>Assist with leading project studio team members, leveraging strengths, and providing mentorship</li>\n <li>Work proactively to resolve issues that arise between project, design, and technical objectives of the project, in coordination with Project Manager</li>\n <li>Execute coordination and integration of architectural and consultant documents</li>\n <li>Seek innovation in design solutions in an ongoing spirit of curiosity and increased project performance</li>\n <li>Demonstrate understanding of appropriate industry standards and construction practice</li>\n <li>Apply knowledge of construction methods and timelines</li>\n <li>Maintain awareness of, and appropriately apply, new methodologies, practices, codes, and products</li>\n <li>Attend and conduct presentations </li>\n <li>Manage client relations</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>This role is an in-office position</li>\n <li>Degree from a CIDA accredited Interior Design program or equivalent</li>\n <li>7+ years of experience in commercial design; Workplace experience strongly preferred</li>\n <li>Display strong design portfolio showing strengths in conceptual design, space planning skills, and detailing</li>\n <li>Revit proficiency and technical excellence</li>\n <li>Thorough understanding of how a drawing set goes together</li>\n <li>Acumen for how things are built and constructability, and the ability to apply that knowledge to support the project design and budget</li>\n <li>General understanding of building and accessibility codes </li>\n <li>Experience coordinating with a variety of consultants and contractors</li>\n <li>Interest in sustainable design</li>\n <li>Professional registration </li>\n <li>Effective organizational and communication skills</li>\n <li>Attention to detail</li>\n <li>Flexible attitude</li>\n <li>Ability to collaborate in a diverse project team environment</li>\n <li>Demonstrated experience coordinating and leading projects teams </li>\n <li>Ability to translate design concepts and information into images</li>\n <li>Confident presentation ability</li>\n <li>Potential travel opportunities</li>\n</ul>\n<p>This position is designated as <strong>full-time on-site</strong> and requires the employee to be physically present at the assigned office location <strong>Monday through Friday during standard business hours</strong>.
