Such duties are greets guests upon arrival, property patrolling, logs calls &amp; gate activities and dispatches calls to other departments</li><li>Understands that the security gate is the beginning of our guest&rsquo;s arrival experience and must provide professional and friendly reception for all guests and associates.</li><li>Helps transport guest to their room.</li><li>Helps guest with their luggage.&nbsp;</li><li>Responds to emergency situations promptly, evaluates the nature &amp; severity of the situation and responds and notifies appropriate management team members</li><li>Writes detailed incident reports regarding: incidents of theft, injury, property damage and/or incident relating to an infraction of laws, company policies or breaches of security</li><li>Assists with investigations as directed</li><li>Oversees key control distribution &amp; collection for associates and contractors</li><li>Patrols property for any safety and fire hazards</li><li>Personally practices and maintains the highest standards of professionalism &amp; customer service when interacting with fellow associates, management, owners and guests.</li><li>Understands that the position will entail confidential matters related to Human Resources and Managing Director that will require strict confidentiality&nbsp;</li><li>Performs other duties as assigned by the Director of Rooms, Human Resources and Director of Operations.&nbsp;</li></ol><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Minimum Qualifications:</strong></p><p>Education &amp; Experience</p><p>&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; High School diploma or GED required&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; One to two years of experience in Security</p><p>&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; Resort security experience preferred&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; Knowledge of local, state, and federal laws pertaining to the activities of Security personnel (including OSHA, Hazardous Communications, and Blood borne Pathogen Exposure Control)</p><p>&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; CPR Certified</p><p>&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;<strong>&nbsp; &nbsp;Must have and active&nbsp;</strong><strong>Guard Card Holder (BSIS)</strong></p><p>&nbsp;Skills &amp; Ability</p><p>&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; Excellent communication skills, both written &amp; oral&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; Excellent customer service skills&nbsp;</p><p><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><p><strong>Working Conditions:</strong>&nbsp;</p><p>Varied working conditions; indoors and outdoors across the property&nbsp;</p><p>Outdoor weather conditions may include; extreme heat and/or cold</p><p>Varying working schedule to include evenings, holidays and extended hours as business dictates</p><p>Must be able to lift 50 pounds.</p><p><strong>Perks:</strong></p><ul id=\"isPasted\"><li>401k Plan</li><li>Vacation Pay</li><li>Sick Pay&nbsp;</li><li>Dental &nbsp;Benefits</li><li>Life Insurance</li><li>Paid Holiday (6)</li><li>Vision Benefits</li><li>Paid Health Insurance Benefits (HMO Premium Employee Portion)</li></ul><p style='margin:0in;font-size:15px;font-family:\"Calibri\",sans-serif;' id=\"isPasted\"><strong><span style=\"font-size:15px;font-weight:bold;\">Work Environment&nbsp;</span></strong></p><p style='margin:0in;font-size:15px;font-family:\"Calibri\",sans-serif;'><br></p><p style='margin-right:0in;margin-left:0in;font-size:15px;font-family:\"Calibri\",sans-serif;margin:0in;' id=\"isPasted\"><span style=\"font-size:15px;\">While performing the duties of this job, the employee is may be exposed to outside weather conditions, including working directly in the sun.
