Corvid develops and uses its own tools in support of these programs and is integrated with both the program offices and the prime contractors for the systems we support.</p><p>Corvid&rsquo;s Guidance, Navigation, and Control group is actively seeking highly qualified software developers with experience in modeling and simulation of flight vehicles. Applicants must be US Citizens and be able to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance. New graduates must be able to demonstrate a firm background in C++ software design, implementation practices, and vehicle modeling experience. Preference will be given to candidates with advanced degrees and experience in time domain flight dynamic simulation development on cluster machines or real-time execution environments. Experienced candidates must have a minimum of 2-5 years of experience and be able to demonstrate the ability to develop missile flight simulations for the purposes of guidance, navigation, and control algorithm verifications.</p><p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Develop, analyze, and integrate Multiple-Input Multiple-Output autopilot algorithms for flight vehicle stabilization and control</li><li>Develop and analyze trajectory optimization and guidance methods</li><li>Develop, test, and maintain autopilot algorithms in Corvid&rsquo;s six degree of freedom simulation model</li><li>Support development of guided supersonic and hypersonic flight vehicles</li><li>Develop and perform test plans for ground testing of GNC algorithms in Corvid&rsquo;s GNC laboratories</li><li>Day-to-day informal and formal report generation</li><li>Support flight testing</li></ul><p><strong>Required Qualifications</strong></p><ul><li>M.S. or Ph.D. in engineering, math, computer science, or physics.</li><li>Strong background in both Numerical Mathematics and Computer Science (algorithms, data structures, etc.).
