This includes setting up and maintaining lane closures, directing traffic, and adhering to all FDOT standards and customer specifications. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong commitment to safety, possess the ability to work effectively in fast-paced conditions, and communicate clearly with coworkers and supervisors.</p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Implement traffic control measures to protect the public and team members.</li><li>Set up and dismantle lane closures and other necessary traffic control equipment.</li><li>Safely load, unload, and transport signs, cones, and barricades as required.</li><li>Direct traffic around and through construction sites using flagging and signaling techniques.</li><li>Perform routine safety and maintenance checks on equipment and tools.</li><li>Keep the worksite clean and organized by properly disposing of debris and materials.</li><li>Accurately complete all job-related paperwork and documentation.</li><li>Collaborate effectively with coworkers to maintain a secure and efficient work zone.</li><li>Monitor job site conditions and adjust traffic control strategies as needed.</li></ul>",
