This role will be Full-time Day Shift: Full-time Day Shift: Monday - Friday 0600-1800 with call rotation. Demonstrates proper technique for injection of radiopharmaceuticals under the American College of Radiology guidelines.</li>\n <li>Demonstrates the ability to recognize clinical and/or emergent problems that may interfere with exams while taking appropriate action to resolve them and produce the most desirable outcome.</li>\n <li>Correctly identifies patients and their files by utilizing electronic medical records and picture archiving/communication systems while ensuring a high degree of accuracy.</li>\n <li>Demonstrates the effective use of radiation protection procedures with shielding, collimation devices, and protective shielding per supervisor observation. Maintains exposure reading within the ALARA limits.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Minimum Requirements:&nbsp;</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>Work schedule:&nbsp;</strong>Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, with on-call and holiday rotations</li>\n <li><strong>Education:&nbsp;</strong>Associate Degree Nuclear Medicine Graduate of an accredited school/program of Nuclear Medicine Technology.</li>\n <li><strong>Licensure:&nbsp;</strong>Registered State Inspector - Virginia Within 3 Months Must be licensed as required by the state of employment if employed at an Inova Health System free-standing Imaging Center not affiliated with one of Inova's hospitals. Must possess a state Nuclear Medicine Tech license if it is required by the state of employment and if employed at an Inova free-standing Imaging Center not affiliated with one of Inova's Hospitals.</li>\n <li><strong>Certification:&nbsp;</strong>CNMT or ARRT-N obtained within one year of hire date. Nuclear Medical Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) or ARRT (N) certification as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist within one year of hire date; Basic Life Support (BLS) Upon Start&nbsp;</li>\n <li><strong>Experience:&nbsp;</strong>Experience in a hospital/healthcare environment as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist/Student.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>&nbsp;</p>",
