The  Biomedical Technician I (BMET I) position is an entry level role with primary responsibilities for general patient care equipment service and maintenance performance. We even offer pet insurance for your four-legged family members.  </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Early access to earned wages with Daily Pay, tuition reimbursement to help further your career and adoption assistance to help you grow your family.   </li>\n</ul>\n<p>With a collective goal to champion a culture of belonging where everyone feels valued and respected, we honor the ways people are unique and embrace what brings us together.   </p>\n<p>And, we believe equipping you with support and development opportunities is a vital part of delivering an exceptional employment experience. </p>\n<p>Find a fulfilling career and make a difference with UnityPoint Health.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Perform preventative maintenance, electrical safety inspections, and equipment verification. </li>\n <li>Install, troubleshoot, repair, and calibrate biomedical equipment, PCs, and medical networks. </li>\n <li>Assist senior BMETs with advanced equipment repairs and troubleshooting. </li>\n <li>Maintain accurate service records in the CMMS database and ensure regulatory compliance. </li>\n <li>Communicate with clinical staff regarding equipment status and provide user education. </li>\n <li>Coordinate with vendors and service technicians to ensure proper service delivery. </li>\n <li>Participate in ongoing training and adhere to on‑call rotation and travel requirements. </li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Education:</strong>  </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Associate's degree in Biomedical Engineering Technology, Electronics, or other Technology/IT related program; military Biomedical Engineering Technician course graduate required.  </li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Experience:</strong>  </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Three (3) months experience working with Biomedical equipment in a clinical engineering environment preferred.  </li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>License(s)/Certification(s):</strong>  </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Valid driver’s license (DRLC1IA, DRLC1IL, DRLC1WI) required.   </li>\n <li>AUTOINS required for driving a personal vehicle.   </li>\n</ul>",
