The Family Visitation Center provides court-ordered supervised visitation and monitored custody exchanges to ensure secure and supportive interactions.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Your role: FVC Relief Staff Facilitator</strong></p><p><br></p><p>As the <strong>FVC Relief Staff Facilitator</strong>, you'll closely supervise parent/child visitations and child custody exchanges and promote a positive and non-judgmental atmosphere and visiting experience for all children and families.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>What you’ll be doing:</strong></p><ul><li>Conducts adult and child orientations.</li><li><strong>Supervise Visits:</strong> Oversee visits and custody exchanges between children and non-custodial parents.</li><li>Follow court orders in domestic violence cases to ensure safety.</li><li><strong>Ensure Safety:</strong> Intervene and redirect visiting parents or children as needed for safety.</li><li>Prioritize the well-being of children, parents, and staff during visits.</li><li><strong>Maintain Records:</strong> Document accurate notes and maintain up-to-date case files for families.</li><li>Ensure all files comply with legal and organizational standards.</li><li><strong>Policy Compliance:</strong> Monitor and enforce client compliance with visitation center policies.</li><li>Address any violations in a professional and timely manner.</li><li><strong>Respond to Threats:</strong> Recognize and respond to potential safety threats for clients and staff.</li><li>Use conflict resolution, de-escalation techniques, and document incidents as required.</li><li><strong>Facility Upkeep:</strong> Assist in organizing visitation and storage rooms, sorting donations.<br>Clean toys, disinfect spaces, restock supplies, and maintain a welcoming environment.</li><li>Maintain integrity in all interactions with clients and colleagues, adhering to ethical standards.</li><li>Commit to supporting survivors and fostering a violence-free society.</li><li>Engage clients authentically while maintaining clear boundaries.</li><li>Demonstrate cultural competence and sensitivity to diverse backgrounds</li><li>Align practices with professional ethics, such as the NASW Code of Ethics.</li><li>Work effectively as part of the team, collaborating effectively across the organization.</li><li>Actively participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and team activities.</li><li>Perform other organizational and program-related duties as assigned.</li><li>Complete IM+CANS certification, 40-hour Domestic Violence, and other required training.</li></ul>",
