    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p>&nbsp;</p>\n<p>The Marshes of Skidaway Island is currently seeking an outstanding <strong>Events &amp; Catering Manager</strong> to join our team at our premier senior living community. This role is ideal for an experienced hospitality professional who is passionate about creating memorable dining and event experiences while serving a vibrant senior population.</p>\n<div style=\"font-style:normal;font-weight:400\">\n <p>Position Overview</p>\n <p>The Events &amp; Catering Manager is responsible for planning, organizing, and overseeing all catering and event activities involving Food &amp; Beverage. This position works closely with residents, dining leadership, and kitchen staff to ensure every event is executed with excellence, professionalism, and care.</p>\n <p>Essential Responsibilities</p>\n <ul>\n  <li>Plan, organize, direct, and coordinate all catering and event activities involving Food &amp; Beverage</li>\n  <li>Consult with residents and staff to determine event needs and preferences</li>\n  <li>Coordinate with kitchen staff to develop menus and ensure all event requirements are met</li>\n  <li>Collaborate with the Dining Room Manager to ensure proper staffing for all events</li>\n  <li>Oversee event setup, service, and breakdown to ensure a high-quality experience</li>\n  <li>Maintain high standards of customer service and hospitality at all times</li>\n </ul>\n <p>Qualifications</p>\n <ul>\n  <li>High School diploma or GED required; ServSafe certification preferred</li>\n  <li>Minimum of five (5) years of supervisory experience in a restaurant, club, hotel, or similar hospitality setting preferred</li>\n  <li>Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to empathize and connect with residents, visitors, peers, supervisors, and team members</li>\n  <li>Ability to work some nights, weekends, and holidays</li>\n  <li>Ability to successfully pass a background check and drug screening</li>\n  <li>Valid driver’s license required</li>\n </ul>\n <p>What We Offer</p>\n <ul>\n  <li>A supportive, team-oriented work environment</li>\n  <li>The opportunity to make a meaningful impact on residents’ daily lives</li>\n  <li>Competitive compensation and benefits</li>\n </ul>\n <p>If you are a dedicated hospitality professional who enjoys creating exceptional events and building positive relationships, we invite you to apply and become part of our community.</p>\n</div>\n<p>EOE/ E-Verify Employer</p>",
