This position is ideal for individuals looking for part-time morning hours while making a meaningful impact in the school community.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Drivers are responsible for ensuring the safe, timely, and orderly transportation of students while maintaining a positive and professional environment on the bus.</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\"><br></span><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Schedule</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Monday through Friday during the school year</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">2:30 PM – 4:30 PM</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Approximately <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">10 hours per week</span></span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Opportunity for an additional <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">2–3 hours per week assisting with bus upkeep and maintenance support</span></span><br></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Responsibilities</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Safely transport students to school on assigned routes</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Maintain consistent, timely pick-up schedules</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Perform pre-trip inspections to ensure bus safety and compliance</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Ensure safe loading and unloading of students</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Monitor student behavior and maintain discipline consistent with school policies</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Maintain a clean and orderly bus</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Follow all traffic laws, safety procedures, and school policies</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Support Providence Hall’s mission by serving as a positive role model</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Qualifications</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">High school diploma or GED</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Valid CDL with school bus endorsement (or ability to obtain)</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Clean driving record; subject to background check and drug screening</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Ability to perform safety inspections and follow procedures</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Physically able to assist students in emergencies</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">CDL Training &amp; Incentives</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Providence Hall is willing to train qualified candidates to obtain a CDL</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">$500 sign-on bonus paid after 90 days of employment.</span>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">If the school provides training and route to licensure the 90 days begins upon receiving your CDL and School Bus Endorsement</span></li>\n</ul>\n</li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Employees receiving CDL training may be required to commit to a minimum employment period or repay training costs if the commitment is not fulfilled</span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul></ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) Statement</span>: It is the policy of the Providence Hall Charter School to ensure that all applicants for employment, as well as all employees, be treated impartially without regard to race, color, religion, sex, age, disability, national origin, political affiliation, ancestry, or marital status.
