This role ensures the safety, reliability, and compliance of all structural assets with engineering standards, WMATA protocols, and applicable regulatory requirements. The engineer plays a key role in maintaining the structural integrity of the Metro system through detailed assessments, issue resolution, and continuous field monitoring.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Perform field inspections of structural assets.</li>\n <li>Document findings and recommend corrective actions.</li>\n <li>Coordinate with maintenance and engineering teams.</li>\n <li>Support emergency response and repair planning.</li>\n <li>Ensure adherence to WMATA safety protocols.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.</li>\n <li>7+ years of field inspection experience.</li>\n <li>PE license preferred.</li>\n <li>Familiarity with transit infrastructure and inspection technologies.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Salary: $90,000 - $110,000</p>\n<h2>Benefits</h2>\n<p>M&J is a leader in providing quality engineering consulting services to a diverse and exciting client base.
