    "description": "<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Registered Children's Home Manager – Learning Disabilities</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Salary:</span> Up to £53,000 per annum (depending on experience and qualifications)<br><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Job Type:</span> Full-Time, Permanent<br><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Location:</span> Penkridge, Staffordshire</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Are you an experienced Registered Manager with a background in Learning Disabilities and complex care?<br>Do you have the leadership skills and passion to drive high-quality, person-centred care for young people with diverse and complex needs?</p>\n<p>At New Reflexions, we are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Registered Home Manager to lead our specialist residential home supporting young people with learning disabilities, autism, and complex needs.</p>\n<p>This is a rewarding opportunity to lead a highly specialised service within a therapeutic, child-centred organisation, where outcomes, dignity, and individual growth are at the heart of everything we do.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">About Us</span></p>\n<p>New Reflexions is a specialist childcare provider delivering integrated care, education, and therapeutic support to children and young people with a history of trauma, learning disabilities, and complex behavioural needs.</p>\n<p>We are committed to delivering structured, nurturing, and person-centred environments where young people can build independence, develop life skills, and achieve meaningful outcomes.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">About the Home</span></p>\n<p>Longridge Care Home is a 6-bed specialist Learning Disability Residential Home, co-located with our independent special school in the Staffordshire countryside.</p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">We support young people aged 5–18 with:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Moderate to severe learning disabilities</li>\n<li>Autism spectrum conditions</li>\n<li>Complex behavioural and emotional needs</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">The home delivers individualised care packages (up to 52 weeks per year) with a strong focus on:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Positive behaviour support plan (PBSP)</li>\n<li>Therapeutic interventions</li>\n<li>Structured routines and communication strategies</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">The Role</span></p>\n<p>As Registered Home Manager, you will lead the service alongside a Deputy Manager in delivering high-quality, compliant, and outcomes-focused care for young people with complex learning needs.</p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">You will:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Provide strong, visible leadership to a multidisciplinary team</li>\n<li>Champion person-centred care and positive behaviour support approaches</li>\n<li>Ensure the home meets Ofsted regulations and quality standards</li>\n<li>Drive continuous improvement and excellent outcomes for young people</li>\n<li>Manage staffing, development, and performance to maintain a skilled workforce</li>\n<li>Oversee safeguarding, risk management, and care planning processes</li>\n<li>Work collaboratively with education, therapy, and external professionals</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">About You</span></p>\n<p>We are looking for a passionate and resilient leader with experience in Learning Disability services.</p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">You will demonstrate:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Experience as a Registered Manager, Deputy Manager, within children’s Learning Disabilities services</li>\n<li>Strong experience supporting individuals with learning disabilities, autism, and complex needs</li>\n<li>Sound knowledge of Positive Behaviour Support and therapeutic care models</li>\n<li>NVQ Level 3 in Residential Childcare </li>\n<li>Level 5 Diploma in Leadership &amp;
