    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p><strong>Summary:</strong> The Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) works under the direct supervision of a licensed dentist and provides a broad range of clinical support services to ensure high-quality patient care and operational efficiency. &nbsp;This role complies with all New York State laws and regulations governing dental assisting practices.</p>\n<p><strong>Job Type:</strong> Full-Time</p>\n<p><strong>Salary:</strong> $24.00- $25.11</p>\n<p><strong>Sign On Bonus:</strong> $1,500</p>\n<p><strong>Essential Duties and Responsibilities:&nbsp;</strong></p>\n<p>In addition to the general Dental Assistant duties, RDAs will:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Educate patients on oral health and post-treatment care</li>\n <li>Collect preliminary medical histories and vital signs for dentist review</li>\n <li>Place and remove rubber dams</li>\n <li>Select and prefit provisional crowns</li>\n <li>Take impressions for study casts, diagnostic casts, space maintainers, orthodontic appliances, and occlusal guards</li>\n <li>Remove periodontal dressings and sutures placed by a licensed dentist</li>\n <li>Apply topical anticariogenic and desensitizing agents</li>\n <li>Place and remove temporary separating devices and restorations</li>\n <li>Remove temporary cement</li>\n <li>Take dental radiographs in accordance with Public Health Law</li>\n <li>Perform other authorized supportive services as directed by the supervising dentist</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>High School diploma/GED</li>\n <li>BLS/CPR certification</li>\n <li>Current registration as a Dental Assistant in New York State</li>\n <li>Completion of a recognized dental assisting program</li>\n <li>Radiology certification per Public Health Law</li>\n <li>Strong interpersonal and communication skills</li>\n <li>Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>About Sun River Health</strong></p>\n<p>Sun River Health has a rich history of providing quality, affordable health care to communities in need.
