          "text": "<p>The Electronics Engineering Technician (Manufacturing) supports the production and quality assurance of electronic assemblies by performing hands-on testing, troubleshooting, and repair of electronic products and systems. The technician works closely with manufacturing, test engineering, and quality teams to ensure products meet technical specifications, function reliably, and are built efficiently.</p><p>&#xa0;</p><ul><li><p>Perform in-process and final testing of electronic assemblies using test fixtures, jigs, and lab equipment.</p></li><li><p>Troubleshoot and repair faulty PCBs and assemblies down to the component level.</p></li><li><p>Support production lines with technical guidance on test procedures and equipment operation.</p></li><li><p>Work from assembly drawings, schematics, and work instructions to validate build quality and functionality.</p></li><li><p>Monitor and document production yields, test failures, and repair activities.</p></li><li><p>Provide feedback to engineering on design-for-manufacturability (DFM) and test improvements.</p></li><li><p>Assist in implementing process improvements and root cause corrective actions related to recurring production issues.</p></li><li><p>Set up and maintain production test stations and related equipment.</p></li><li><p>Support the training of operators and technicians in proper test procedures and troubleshooting techniques.</p></li><li><p>Participate in new product introduction (NPI) activities, including pilot builds and test validation</p></li></ul><p>&#xa0;</p><p><strong>Education:</strong></p><p><strong>&#xa0;</strong></p><p>Minimum associate degree in either Electronics Technology, Electrical Engineering Technology, related field, or Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering.</p><p>&#xa0;</p><p><br>\n<strong>Experience/Skills:</strong></p><p>&#xa0;</p><ul><li><p>3+ years in electronics manufacturing or test environment with an Associates Degree either in Electronics Technology, Electrical Engineering Technology, or a related field; OR a Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering with no prior experience.</p></li><li><p>Strong ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and assembly documentation.</p></li><li><p>Proficient in using test and diagnostic equipment (oscilloscopes, DMMs, power supplies, function generators).</p></li><li><p>Skilled in soldering and reworking PCB assemblies (through-hole and surface mount).</p></li><li><p>Solid analytical and problem-solving skills.</p></li><li><p>Strong attention to detail and workmanship standards.</p></li><li><p>Ability to work under minimal supervision and meet production deadlines.</p></li><li><p>Good written and verbal communication skills.</p></li><li><p>Team-oriented with a proactive mindset toward continuous improvement.</p></li></ul><p><em>&#xa0;</em></p><p>Pay range $71K - $96K plus 5% target bonus and benefits.</p><p>&#xa0;</p><p>**Many Evident positions are located at export-control-restricted work locations or require access to export-controlled information.
