They also offer mutual aid support when neighboring EMS services or transferring hospitals request assistance.&nbsp;</p>\n<p><strong>QUALIFICATION:</strong></p>\n<p><strong>Educations &amp; Experience:&nbsp;</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Associates degree</li>\n <li>You must be enrolled in a BSN or MSN program from an accredited school of professional nursing and graduate on or before the third employment anniversary date into a nursing position.</li>\n <li>BSN or MSN graduates preferred</li>\n <li>Grandfathered Exemption of Educational Requirement:&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Hired on or before June 1, 2013 - IMC</li>\n <li>Hired on or before August 4, 2015 - IMCW</li>\n <li><u>A minimum of two years of nursing experience is required, which can be obtained in one or a combination of the following areas: critical care transport, prehospital basic/advanced life support, critical care, and/or emergency department nursing.</u></li>\n</ul>\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\n<p><strong>Certification/Licensure:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Must possess RN-EMT or be eligible for certification within the 100-day probationary period or certified as a mobile intensive care registered nurse (MICN), as indicated by N.J.A.C. 8:41.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Coaching Emergency Vehicle Operator (CEVO) within the 100-day probationary period is required</li>\n <li>Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS),&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Basic Life Support (BLS) Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR)&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) or Pediatric Emergency Care for the Pre-hospital Provider-Advanced (PEPP-A).&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Pre-Hospital Trauma Life Support (PHTLS) within the probationary period is required for MICN certification.
