          "text": "<p>We are looking for a BSN Nursing Instructor to join our team in conjunction with our Workforce Development Partner, Kaweah Health in Visalia, CA.</p><p><strong>We are looking for individuals with OB Specialty experience</strong></p><p>The BSN Nursing Instructor will provide Clinical site education to students enrolled at the assigned Workforce Development Program site.<br>\n<br>\n*Hours vary based on clinical rotation and/or skills lab course.</p><ol><li>Providing education in the skills lab and/or clinical setting commensurate with established curriculum and faculty expertise (clinical rotations can be days, evenings, weekends, or a combination of all);</li><li>Utilize principles of teaching that recognize the characteristics of the adult learner;</li><li>Plan and supervises student clinical experience in assigned health care facilities;</li><li>Evaluates student performance in relation to clinical learning outcomes in accordance with policies and procedures established by Unitek College, Department of Nursing;</li><li>Provide feedback of clinical performance or specific event in a timely manner after observation;</li><li>Assists in maintaining student records as evidenced by keeping accurate clinical and/or skills lab attendance, completed skills check-off forms, and assisting with requested programmatic outcome data collection;</li><li>Ensuring clinical assignments meet both student and facility needs;</li><li>Determines best method to observe, instruct, and evaluate students;</li><li>Makes continuous efforts to improve quality of instruction;</li><li>Demonstrate or be willing to acquire skills for utilizing online activities as enhancers to course content/material during interactive teaching and learning;</li><li>Submit required program reports and forms to the Academic Site Director of the program in a timely manner;</li><li>Keep current with innovative technologies and safety regulations;</li><li>Participate in committee activities that support the mission and function of the nursing program as needed;</li><li>Attend faculty meetings;</li><li>Provide access to students for ongoing communication through scheduling of office hours, electronic communication, or other appropriate method.</li><li>Other duties as assigned.</li></ol><p>Pay Range: $55-$70/hr DOE</p>",

          "text": "<ol><li>Hold a valid, unencumbered license issued by the California Board of Registered Nursing;</li><li>Eligible for approval by CA BRN as Instructor for Medical-Surgical, OB, Pediatrics, Mental Health, Community Health, or Geriatrics;</li><li>Master’s degree from an accredited college or university that includes course work in nursing, education, or administration, and academic preparation for the subject they teach to be considered as Assignment Faculty;</li><li>BSN and currently enrolled in a Master’s program may be considered for a Clinical Teaching Assistant;</li><li>Minimum four-years’ experience, with one year in the last five years, as a registered nurse providing direct patient care. Clinical experience within the last five years (clinical teaching in an RN program applies toward direct patient care.) Clinically competent as defined in CCR Section 1420(c);</li><li>One-year experience teaching courses related to nursing or completion of a course which includes practice in teaching nursing preferred; and</li><li>Expertise in one of the following areas of nursing – Mental Health, Medical-Surgical, Geriatrics, Pediatrics, L&amp;D, Community Health, and/or Critical Care</li></ol>",
