Operations & Value Creation Analyst

As we scale, Lyra is hiring its first Operations & Value Creation Analyst. Working directly with two senior Value Creation leaders, you will own recurring analytical work and key reporting processes. The role offers direct exposure to Lyra leadership, hands-on engagement with our Operating Companies, and a strong foundation in private equity portfolio operations. Your work as an Operations & Value Creation Analyst will include: Scorecard Ownership & Reporting Own the day-to-day maintenance and continuous improvement of Lyra’s portfolio performance scorecards Aggregate operational and financial data from across the portfolio on a recurring basis Identify trends, outliers, and performance drivers and summarize findings clearly for senior stakeholders Make incremental improvements to scorecard structure, data inputs, and visualizations over time Analytical Support Support the Value Creation team with ad hoc analysis, benchmarking, and performance reporting Assist in building financial models and operational summaries that quantify the impact of portfolio initiatives Help prepare materials for regional teams and internal leadership updates Pressure-test data and assumptions before insights are shared more broadly Data & Workflow Help maintain clean, consistent data across decentralized portfolio systems Support improvements in how Operating Companies submit operational data and updates Identify opportunities to reduce manual reporting efforts through better processes and tooling Our ideal candidate has: 1–2 years of analytical experience in a structured program or operations role Strong proficiency in Excel; comfort working with large, messy data sets Clear, concise written and verbal communication — You can translate numbers into a narrative High attention to detail and a track record of delivering clean, reliable work products Ability to manage recurring workstreams independently without heavy oversight Genuine curiosity about business operations and how companies grow Lyra Benefits Fully funded medical and dental coverage for employees and their families, effective day one Unlimited PTO, with a strong culture of work–life balance Annual bonus based on company and personal performance 4% 401(k) match, vested immediately Career pathways and mentorship opportunities Annual company conference and monthly team building events This role is based in Chicago, IL and requires an onsite presence.
