We inform, inspire, and entertain millions of readers every month across digital, print, video, and social platforms.</p>\n<p><strong>Key Responsibilities (What You Are Doing)</strong></p>\n<p>Edit short- and long-form video content using Adobe Creative Suite for digital, social, and broadcast platforms<br>\n Implement feedback from producers and editorial teams quickly and accurately to refine storytelling<br>\n Deliver high-quality video projects on deadline with strong attention to detail, pacing, and narrative structure<br>\n Manage media workflows including ingesting, organizing, archiving, and tracking assets across projects<br>\n Apply best practices for media storage and maintain highly organized project files<br>\n Collaborate closely with production teams in the planning and execution of video shoots<br>\n Contribute creative ideas that elevate storytelling and align with Men’s Health and Women’s Health brand voices</p>\n<p><strong>Qualifications (What We’re Looking For)</strong></p>\n<p>3+ years of experience in video editing and post-production, including motion design, or equivalent experience<br>\n Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, with the ability to troubleshoot media and technical issues<br>\n Familiarity with additional editing tools such as Avid Media Composer, DaVinci Resolve, or similar platforms<br>\n Strong sense of storytelling, with an exceptional eye for pacing, sound design, and shot selection<br>\n Experience with audio mixing and color correction/grading<br>\n Ability to work efficiently under pressure, managing multiple projects and tight deadlines<br>\n Strong organizational, communication, and collaboration skills in a fast-paced production environment<br>\n A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with a willingness to take on additional responsibilities as needed<br>\n Experience with camera work, lighting, or live audio is a plus<br>\n Based in New York City with the ability to work in-office 4 days per week</p>\n<p><br>\n The hourly rate for this position is $50, with a schedule of approximately 28 hours per week.</p>\n<p>Hearst Magazines is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
