With clients at the heart of all we do, our people, knowledge, and technology power our connected ecosystem of health, safety and security solutions and services.&nbsp;</p><p><br></p><p><strong>ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS</strong></p><p>Closely work with together with the BIM Manager and system&rsquo;s design engineers to provide 3D design aid throughout the project&rsquo;s life cycle.</p><p>Reports to Enterprise Systems engineering manager.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITY</strong></p><p>The Engineer is responsible for working closely with the BIM Manager and Systems Engineer to create a 3D model of the integrated security systems design submittal for approval by the customer or representative and in accordance with project specifications, drawings, codes, and regulations, manage and create the design submittal (drawings, bill of material, calculations, as-builts, etc.) and maintain the submittal during changes to the contract.</p><p>Work within Security Technology systems group on the design and integration of security systems, access control, intrusion detection systems, communication, CCTV, Intercom systems, computer, and networking.</p><p>Develop detailed design schematic and review 2D and 3D drawings for electronic and electrical products. This position will require working closely with project managers, design engineers, engineering specialists, manufactures, customers, engineering firms and other external experts.</p><p>This position will require working in the Elmsford-NY office or the Fair Lawn-NJ office.</p><p>Travel if might needed is less than 10% of the time.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Job Requirements:</strong></p><p><strong>ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Basic working knowledge of Electronic Security Systems and features.</li><li>Creating Detailed 3D Models utilizing Revit, AutoCAD, and Navisworks to develop detailed 3D models of architectural designs.&nbsp;</li><li>Work closely with Design Engineers,&nbsp;architects, and other team members.</li><li>Updating and Modifying Models. As plans and specifications change, update and modify existing models accordingly.</li><li>Generating 2D Drawings and Details. Extract 2D drawings and construction details from 3D models.</li><li>Clash Detection and Coordination. Run clash detection analyses to identify conflicts or discrepancies between different building elements.</li><li>Attend Regular Project clash detection meetings and be prepared with clash reports to facilitate coordination meetings among project stakeholders.</li><li>Adherence to BIM Standards. Ensure that all models comply with project-specific BIM standards and protocols.</li><li>Maintaining BIM Libraries.
