Safety, attention to detail, following company procedures, and team work are key components to being a successful ramp attendant. The ideal candidate must possess verbal &amp; written communication skills, be energetic, outgoing, understanding and accepting of change. They must also be flexible and able to deal with the adapting nature of aviation. If you enjoy a great team, where each day presents new challenges and opportunities, this position is for you! </p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:</span></p>\n<p><span> Sort, load, unload baggage and cargo from flights.</span></p>\n<p><span> Service lavatories and potable water per company standards.</span></p>\n<p><span> Connect, disconnect ground power/bridge power from Aircraft.</span></p>\n<p><span> Marshall aircraft to and from gate, parking stands.</span></p>\n<p><span> Wing walk arrivals and departures.</span></p>\n<p><span> Operate belt loaders, baggage tractors and carts.</span></p>\n<p><span> Complete aircraft grooming.</span></p>\n<p><span> Complete aircraft towing and/or brake riding.</span></p>\n<p><span> Complete daily inspection of operating equipment.</span></p>\n<p><span> Complete equipment deficiency reports as required.</span></p>\n<p><span> Snow removal, equipment cleaning, housekeeping as required.</span></p>\n<p><span> Perform aircraft deicing as required.</span></p>\n<p><span> Perform deice trucking filling and bulk glycol deliveries as required.</span></p>\n<p><span> Attend all required training sessions and successfully complete training courses.</span></p>\n<p><span> Actively participate in company safety programs.</span></p>\n<p><span> Work as a team member in a safe, efficient, professional manner.</span></p>\n<p><span> Adhere to published uniform standards and requirements.</span></p>\n<p><span> Follow all safety guidelines and safe workplace procedures.</span></p>\n<p><span> Take direction from ramp shift leads/supervisors and BTW Manager.</span></p>\n<p><span> Complete customer baggage and/or cargo deliveries as required.</span></p>\n<p><span> Other duties as assigned by management.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:</span></p>\n<p><span> Must be able to apply and secure an Airport Restricted Area Pass (RAIC).</span></p>\n<p><span> Must be legally entitled to work in Canada, with a Current Work Permit if necessary.</span></p>\n<p><span> Must have valid driver’s license with clean abstract.</span></p>\n<p><span> Ability to speak, write and understand the English language.</span></p>\n<p><span> Previous airline and/or freight handling experience would be an asset.</span></p>\n<p><span> Must have excellent team player competencies.</span></p>\n<p><span> Must be willing to adapt to the changing nature of aviation.</span></p>\n<p><span> Must be willing to work outdoors in all weather conditions.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"> </span>$125.00 per year Protective Footwear Allowance.</p>\n<p> PPE required is provided to employee.</p>\n<p> Cost Share on all Uniform Pieces.</p>\n<p> Paid Training.</p>\n<p> <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Access to flight travel benefits.</span></p>\n<p> <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Access to Group Savings Plan (if eligible).</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><br></p>",
