    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p><strong>Brief Description:&nbsp;</strong><br>\n Supply Planner / Buyer, Supporting Customer Delivery by effective scheduling &amp; optimizing production capacity. Closely&nbsp; coordinating with Demand, Engineering, Product Team and Material functions.&nbsp;<br>\n Inventory control</p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong><br>\n • Knowledge of ERP System &amp; Material Planning<br>\n • Interact with Sales / Manufacturing / Product Team to interpret their needs and requirement to understand&nbsp;<br>\n demand.<br>\n • <strong>Purchase Order (PO) Management</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Raise and issue POs in Oracle based on demand plans, MRP signals, and planning team input.</li>\n <li>Ensure accuracy of PO details: pricing, quantity, part numbers, delivery dates, incoterms, and payment terms.</li>\n <li>Monitor open POs for timely confirmation, shipment, and delivery updates from suppliers.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Supplier Management</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Act as the main point of contact for assigned raw material suppliers.</li>\n <li>Follow up on deliveries to ensure on-time arrival to support production schedules.</li>\n <li>Escalate and resolve any delivery delays, shortages, or quality issues with suppliers.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Raw Material Planning Support</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Work closely with planners and materials team to ensure alignment between supply and demand.</li>\n <li>Adjust PO releases based on changes to the production plan or inventory position.</li>\n <li>Participate in daily Tier meetings and weekly supply/demand reviews.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Inventory &amp; Cost Control</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Help maintain optimal inventory levels to support Just-In-Time (JIT) manufacturing while avoiding overstocking.</li>\n <li>Monitor excess, obsolete, and slow-moving material risks.</li>\n <li>Support efforts to drive down material costs through supplier negotiation and value engineering input.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>System Maintenance and Reporting</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Keep Oracle / Cyber Plan ERP data accurate and up to date (lead times, pricing, MOQ, supplier info, etc.).</li>\n <li>Assist in updating and maintaining the Key Metrics and KPI Tracker weekly.</li>\n <li>Contribute data for supplier scorecards, delivery performance, and purchase plan attainment.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Metrics and KPI Management</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Use metrics to monitor and evaluate supplier performance on:\n  <ul>\n   <li>On-Time Delivery (OTD)</li>\n   <li>On Time to Promise Suppler Lines</li>\n   <li>Total lines Delivered from Supplier&nbsp;</li>\n   <li>On-Time to Request Line from Supplier&nbsp;</li>\n   <li>Price Accuracy</li>\n   <li>Support continuous improvement by identifying trends and root causes of supplier issues.</li>\n  </ul></li>\n</ul>\n<p>The successful candidate will embrace Vertiv’s Core Principals &amp; Behaviors to help execute our Strategic Priorities.</p>\n<p><strong>OUR CORE PRINCIPALS:</strong> Safety, Integrity, Respect, Teamwork, Diversity &amp; Inclusion.</p>\n<p><strong>OUR STRATEGIC PRIORITIES</strong><br>\n Customer Focus<br>\n Operational Excellence<br>\n High-Performance Culture<br>\n Innovation<br>\n Financial Strength</p>\n<p><strong>OUR BEHAVIORS</strong><br>\n Own It<br>\n Act With Urgency<br>\n Foster a Customer-First Mindset<br>\n Think Big and Execute<br>\n Lead by Example<br>\n Drive Continuous Improvement<br>\n Learn and Seek Out Development</p>\n<p>Vertiv is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer.
