The Institute on Development and Disability within the Department of Pediatrics at OHSU works with patients, families, clinicians, researchers and many other professionals to meet the goal of improving the lives of people with disabilities. We perform research and care to support every patient, from premature babies to older adults, facing changes in life due to the onset of disabling conditions. With more than 100 years of practice, we understand how to best meet the needs of our patients and their families in Oregon and beyond.

The Eugene campus of the Child Development and Rehabilitation Center provides interdisciplinary clinical services for persons with developmental disabilities and other special health care needs. CDRC Eugene programs and services are provided at the Clinical Services Building on the University of Oregon campus.
Function/Duties of Position
This position supports the clinical, educational, and/or research goals of the Institute on Development & Disability, Child Development & Rehabilitation Center to improve the lives of children and adults with child onset disabilities
The individual in this position provides psychological evaluation, assessment and treatment services and participates in the clinical instruction/supervision for psychology students and interns.
The duties of this position include:
Conducts psychological evaluations and assessments including clinical interviews, behavioral assessments, and administers standard psychological tests.
Provides short term, solution focused psychological treatment services to foster adjustment and adaptive coping with disability, special health needs, chronic illness, and behavioral/psychological difficulties.
Supervises psychology students and interns in clinical training at the Eugene CDRC office.
Participates in CDRC interdisciplinary diagnostic team assessments and treatment planning.
Coordinates clinical services with community providers as needed.
Provides guest lectures to University of Oregon courses and formal presentations to community groups as time permits.
Assists the Eugene CDRC Clinical Director in monitoring clinical productivity and revenue reports for clinical activities undertaken.
Demonstrates Core Competencies expected of all OHSU employees in the areas of Accountability, Integrity, Diversity, Respect, Service Orientation, Teamwork and Collaboration, and Communication.
Complies with OHSU policies related to Code of conduct, Respect in the workplace, and all applicable policies, procedures and agreements related to position, department or OHSU as a whole.

Required Qualifications
PhD, Graduate from an APA approved Psychology Program.
Training/experience providing behavioral pediatric treatment (brief).
Experience with infant, child, adolescent, and family assessment.
Diagnostic experience with conditions affecting learning and behavior.
Experience with children presenting diagnostic questions of attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, learning and intellectual disabilities, autism spectrum disorders, trauma and learning problems preferred.
Knowledge/familiarity with special education eligibility procedures and criteria.
Licensed or eligible for Psychology licensure in Oregon.
Current Oregon Driver’s License.
