Join our team and be part of an organization that values teamwork, integrity, and a commitment to a sustainable future.</p><p><br></p><p><strong data-pasted=\"true\">Role Summary:</strong> This position is mobile, headquartered in NSU&rsquo;s Ham Lake MN, office and serving NSU&#39;s Operations, covering the Ham Lake service area, providing operations and maintenance support to various water and wastewater facilities as directed by the operations supervisor. The mobile operator is an independent well-organized self-starter able to manage his/her own time to complete assigned site coverage(s) in their given allotted time. Responsibilities include operations and maintenance as well as alarm call response and client satisfaction.</p><p><br></p><p data-pasted=\"true\"><strong>Duties and Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Perform critical testing of facility operations, such as pH, dissolved oxygen, chlorine, etc. in order to monitor system condition.</li><li>Maintain complete, accurate, legible records of all phases of facility operations.</li><li>Maintain complete, accurate, legible records of all equipment and plant maintenance.&nbsp;</li><li>Perform general preventive maintenance on treatment plant equipment such as blower oil, filter and belt changes, pulling and inspecting submersible pumps and floats, etc.</li><li>Submit event inspection and sampling reported in online database and prepare BRP summary forms based on facility&rsquo;s operation and/or maintenance records for the client, employer, manufacturer or regulatory agency as required.</li><li>Inform Supervisor in a timely manner of plant problems, upsets, plant expansion, repairs, etc.&nbsp;</li><li>Work conscientiously and be aware of safety hazards.&nbsp;</li><li>Operate plants to meet all regulatory guidelines and responsibilities.</li><li>Develop scope of work for repairs or resamples and prepare work orders</li><li>Assist maintenance personnel with pump, blower, motor, valve, etc., removal.</li><li>Maintain accurate records for gasoline, mileage, timesheets, expenses, etc.</li><li>Work scheduled weekends and occasional holidays for assigned routes.</li><li>Project a positive image to operators, clients, regulatory agencies, engineers, etc.</li></ul><p><br></p><p data-pasted=\"true\"><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>High School Diploma or GED required</li><li>Must be 21 years of age or older</li><li>1 year of wastewater experience, preferred</li><li>Must be able to work weekends and holidays as requested</li><li>Overtime as required</li><li>Understanding of basic laboratory procedures</li><li>Understanding basic electrical troubleshooting procedures</li><li>Certificates, licenses, and registrations:<ul type=\"circle\"><li>Valid Driver&rsquo;s License required</li></ul></li><li>MN Class C or D Wastewater License (desired)</li><li>MN Class C or D Water License (desired)</li><li>SSTS Service Provider License (desired)</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>What We Offer:</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Top-Tier Benefits: We offer comprehensive medical, vision, and dental insurance to keep you and your family healthy.</li><li>Employer-Paid Basic Life Insurance: Your peace of mind matters, and we provide employer-paid life insurance to protect you and your loved ones.</li><li>Disability Coverage: With both short-term and long-term disability coverage, you can feel secure knowing you&#39;re supported during difficult times.</li><li>Tuition Reimbursement: We are committed to helping you enhance your career.
