The QC inspector will also be responsible for documenting inspection results, taking measurements, and tracking defects.&nbsp;</p></td></tr></tbody></table><p>ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS</p><p><em>Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions</em></p><p><em>&nbsp;</em></p><table border=\"1\" cellspacing=\"0\" cellpadding=\"0\"><tbody><tr><td valign=\"top\" style=\"width: 100%;\"><ul><li>Reports to QC Lead person for daily activities</li><li>Perform and document dimensional and visual checks of production parts and incoming goods.</li><li>Responsible for notifying Quality Control Lead person, in addition to Manufacturing and Engineering, of non-conforming goods.</li><li>Inspect customer-supplied inserts, per drawings supplied.</li><li>Ring check and approve production tryouts to engineered tolerances.</li><li>Inspection of buy-out materials.</li><li>Make first-piece inspection and document ring checks.</li><li>Shipping certifications.</li><li>Log and verify traceability packets.</li><li>Implement and practice Lean Manufacturing tools including 5S, increased productivity, and eliminate waste.</li><li>Maintain a 5S checklist as it applies to your work area.</li><li>Perform other related duties assigned by QA Manager or QC Lead person</li></ul></td></tr></tbody></table><p><strong>Other Requirements</strong></p><ul><li>An annual vision examination is required.</li><li>Must be able to use measuring devices.</li><li>Must follow company safety procedures at all times.</li><li>Must have average reading, writing, and mathematical skills.</li><li>Must be able to visually inspect materials.</li><li>Must be able to lift 50 lbs., 3 ft. high.</li></ul><p><strong>Required Education and Experience</strong></p><ul><li>High school diploma or equivalent, with 4-5 years of work-related experience.</li></ul><p><br></p><p id=\"isPasted\"><strong>Work Environment</strong><strong><br>&nbsp;</strong>This job operates in an office and manufacturing environment.
