In other words, we strive to be the best we can be.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong>Located in Sutherlin, OR, or Roseburg, OR</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>The EHS Manager oversees Environmental, Health, and Safety programs to ensure compliance and enhance operational resilience. Reporting to the Sr. EHS Manager, this role collaborates with cross-functional leaders to foster a proactive safety culture, maintain environmental regulatory compliance, and promote employee health initiatives. Key responsibilities include executing compliance tasks, leading field engagement, and providing support across EHS&S areas. The EHS Manager also provides strategic leadership and operational oversight, serving as an advisor to leadership and a partner to operations in driving safety, compliance, and environmental stewardship.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong> </strong></p>\n<p><strong>CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Champion a positive safety culture and reinforce safe work practices across both locations.</li>\n <li>Lead site health and safety processes, including behavior-based safety, risk assessments (TRA), mitigation strategies, ergonomics assessments, and Life Saving Principles reinforcement.</li>\n <li>Model and maintain organizational safety, cultural, and professional standards.</li>\n <li>Develop, implement, and lead safety, compliance, and preventative care programs, policies, and training.</li>\n <li>Conduct audits, inspections, and compliance assessments; identify gaps and drive corrective and preventive actions.</li>\n <li>Measure and evaluate the effectiveness of hazard management systems and recommend enhancements that drive risk reduction.</li>\n <li>Lead incident investigations and root cause analysis (PDCA, Fishbone, 5-Why), ensuring corrective and preventive actions are implemented and verified.</li>\n <li>Provide EHS performance reporting and data analysis to leadership.</li>\n <li>Audit SOPs/MOPs and verify hazard analyses are completed for all manufacturing equipment.</li>\n <li>Oversee core EHS programs including LOTO, Hazard Communication, EAP, Hearing Conservation, Hot Work, Respiratory Protection, and Bloodborne Pathogens.</li>\n <li>Manage safety data systems, analytics, and OSHA recordkeeping to identify trends and drive continuous improvement. </li>\n <li>Serve as the primary contact for all incidents, injuries, notifications, and case management.</li>\n <li>Conduct required audits and support emergency response readiness, Safety Committee coordination, and shop floor-level EHS engagement.</li>\n <li>Lead and support environmental compliance programs for Oregon state regulations and federal mandates, including but not limited to:</li>\n</ul>\n<p>o   Title V Air Permitting</p>\n<p>o   Tier II Reporting / EPCRA</p>\n<p>o   Hazardous Waste (LQG) Compliance – RCRA</p>\n<p>o   Stormwater Compliance & SWPPP</p>\n<p>o   SPCC, Air Emissions, Waste Management, and Sustainability Programs</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Conduct environmental inspections, sampling, testing, reporting, and documentation aligned with DEQ and EPA expectations.</li>\n <li>Manage hazardous waste streams, universal waste, waste profiling, storage, characterization, and manifest requirements.</li>\n <li>Maintain presence across both manufacturing sites and support off-shift needs when required.</li>\n <li>Support sustainability initiatives, waste minimization efforts, and tracking of key environmental KPIs.</li>\n <li>Drive near-miss reporting, learning, and closure of corrective actions.</li>\n <li>Facilitate and monitor site security operations, including surveillance systems, access control processes, and coordinating with facilities, leadership, and third-party providers to ensure a secure, compliant, and disruption-free work environment.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong> </strong></p>\n<p><strong>QUALIFICATIONS (must have): </strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Minimum 3 years of professional EHS experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment.</li>\n <li>Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety & Health, Environmental Science, Industrial Hygiene, or related discipline.</li>\n <li>Demonstrated ability to create and deliver safety training programs.</li>\n <li>Strong initiative with the ability to influence, coach, and facilitate change across diverse teams.</li>\n <li>Capable of working independently with limited direction while maintaining strong cross-functional partnerships.</li>\n <li>Excellent organizational habits with consistent follow-through.</li>\n <li>Valid U.S. Driver’s License.</li>\n <li>Ability to travel domestically up to 10%.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong> </strong></p>\n<p><strong>QUALIFICATIONS (beneficial): </strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Strong interpersonal communication, project management capability, and structured problem-solving skills.</li>\n <li>Effective presentation skills to support training delivery at all organizational levels.</li>\n <li>Proficiency in interpreting and applying OSHA, EPA, DEQ, and other regulatory standards.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Skilled in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams) and EHS management systems.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>#HP</p>\n<h2>Company Benefits:</h2>\n<p><strong>Health & Welfare Benefits:</strong> Medical and prescription drug plans, telemedicine (with medical plan), High-Deductible Health Plan (HDHP) and Health Savings Account (HSA), dental and vision plans, virtual physical therapy*, an employee assistance program (EAP)*, and voluntary accident, critical illness, and hospital indemnification programs.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> <strong>Financial Benefits:</strong> Retirement 401k program with company match, an employee stock purchase plan (voluntary), financial wellness planning*, paid parental leave*, flexible spending accounts (FSA) for child care and health care, short-term and long-term disability*, basic life insurance, accidental death and dismemberment (AD&D)*, adoption financial reimbursement*, tuition reimbursement*, voluntary life insurance (for employees, spouses, and children), and voluntary identity theft and fraud protection. </p>\n<p>*100% paid by ADS.</p>\n<h2>EEO Statement</h2>\n<p>ADS supports an inclusive workplace that values diversity of thought, experience, and background.
