    "requisitionDescription": "<div><div><p id=\"isPasted\"><strong>Electronics Service Technician</strong></p><p>Rio Marine is expanding in the locations listed below. &nbsp;Rio has a family type of environment where all members work together as a team to assist each other, grow the company, and support the challenges that lay ahead of us together. &nbsp;We have worked hard to build a team of good people. &nbsp;We are committed to providing our customers with the highest quality parts, service, solutions, support, and engineering. &nbsp;Rio is looking for long term team members who want to be an integral part of our growing business where each member has a direct contribution on the direction we take as a company.</p><p>Tampa, FL&nbsp;</p><p>Staten Island, NY</p><p>New Orleans, LA</p><p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Trouble shoot and diagnose all levels of electronic systems.</li></ul><ol start=\"1\" type=\"1\"><li>Radar&nbsp; &nbsp;</li><li>VHF and MF/HF</li><li>AIS</li><li>Computer systems</li><li>Camera systems</li><li>GPS&nbsp;</li><li>12VDC and 24VDC power systems</li></ol><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Must know how to use multi-meter/ amp meter/ megger.</li><li>Terminate all types of electronic equipment.</li><li>Read all types of prints.</li><li>Perform routine maintenance and inspecting of communication and navigation equipment.</li><li>Ability to learn and adapt to new equipment and manufactures.</li><li>Manage projects as assigned.</li><li>On-call for a (7) seven-day period</li><li>Travel occasionally for the company to work at other locations.</li><li>Insure all of Rio Marine&rsquo;s safety and operational policies are followed.</li><li>Rio Marine is a 24 hour a day 7 day a week operation and overtime is required.</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p><ol start=\"1\" type=\"1\"><li><strong>Education</strong></li></ol><ul type=\"disc\"><li><strong>&nbsp;&nbsp;</strong>High School diploma or equivalent</li></ul><ol start=\"1\" type=\"1\"><li><strong>Physical</strong></li></ol><ul type=\"disc\"><li>&nbsp;Ability to lift and carry 50lbs for extended distances.</li><li>Ability to work in all adverse weather condition.</li><li>Ability to climb ladders, stairs and gangways up to 25 feet in height.</li><li>Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch and work above head for extended periods of time.</li><li>Ability to operate Rio Marine vehicles in a safe and courteous manner.</li></ul><ol start=\"1\" type=\"1\"><li><strong>Personal Background</strong></li></ol><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Must be capable of acquiring valid TWIC.</li><li>Must have valid driver license.</li><li>Must have clean driving record with no DWI convictions.</li><li>Must pass a criminal background check.</li><li>Must be able to pass a drug and alcohol test.</li></ul><p><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><p><strong>Practical Experience</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Previous experience in electronic service industry</li><li>Good communications skills</li><li>Professional manner in dealing with other employees, management and customers.</li><li>Organizational Skills</li><li>Basic mechanical skills</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Full Compensation Package Available to include:</strong></p><p>- Competitive Salary&nbsp;</p><p>- Medical, Dental&nbsp;</p><p>- Company truck</p></div></div>\n",
