In return for your contributions, you will be rewarded with career growth opportunities, an incredibly competitive market salary, and other benefits that include:</p>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Paid time off (PTO)</li>\n <li>Paid Holidays</li>\n <li>Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance plans</li>\n <li>401(k) with a high percentage match</li>\n <li>Generous profit sharing</li>\n <li>Cell phone stipend</li>\n <li>Referral bonus opportunities</li>\n <li>Employee discounts</li>\n <li>And more!</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>JOB TITLE</strong>: Truss Foreman - Swing Shift</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>JOB LOCATION</strong>: Willard, UT<strong>FUNCTION</strong>: Drives the efficient and profitable performance of Truss Laborers by applying effective management principles and in accordance to customer needs and organizational priorities.</p>\n<p><strong>REPORTING TO</strong>: Location Manager or Truss Operations Manager</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>KEY ACTIVITIES</strong>:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Visualizes, defines, plans, communicates, and implements Sunpro’s vision and core values.</li>\n <li>Provides on-site supervision of floor and roof trusses in accordance to customer expectations and company procedures.</li>\n <li>Drives individual and team performance through effective evaluation, training and management of Truss Laborers and related positions.</li>\n <li>Assists in the effective recruitment, onboarding, and development of new employees.</li>\n <li>Analyses individual and team’s performance to identify skill gaps and training needs.</li>\n <li>Tracks, collects, and submits all necessary data for the timely, error-free processing of payroll.</li>\n <li>Successfully translates work orders and building instructions into a quality finished product.</li>\n <li>Perform duties of Truss Laborer, Sawyer, etc. as needed:\n  <ul>\n   <li>Accurately cuts angles in wood for trusses.</li>\n   <li>Hammers gussets/plates onto trusses.</li>\n   <li>Runs trusses into roller machine.</li>\n   <li>Moves and stack trusses.</li>\n   <li>Operates equipment as trained and in accordance to designated safety standards.</li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li>Serves as a safety champion</li>\n <li>Maintains a clean working environment.</li>\n <li>Adheres to company policies and procedures as outlined in the employee handbook, etc.</li>\n <li>Perform other duties as required.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS</strong>:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Strong supervisory skills and team management skills.</li>\n <li>Effective written and verbal communication skills.</li>\n <li>Practical mathematic and measuring skills.</li>\n <li>Able to function effectively as part of a high-performance production team.</li>\n <li>Ability to achieve performance objectives in a time-sensitive and quality-centered environment.</li>\n <li>Demonstrate initiative and reliability with minimal supervision.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE</strong>:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>High School Diploma or GED.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS</strong>:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Physical Work Requirements - Heavy: exerting up to 50 lbs of force regularly.</li>\n <li>Repetitive impact motion associated with hammering and other such construction activities.</li>\n <li>Frequent bending, standing, lifting, and ongoing physical activity.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>This description is not intended to be an exhaustive list of all responsibilities, skills, efforts, or work conditions associated with this job.
