Position Description: We are seeking a highly motivated team player for production work in roadway design engineering. Candidates must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering and possess at least 8 years of experience in roadway related design projects for MDOT or ODOT and local agencies. The ideal candidate will have a working knowledge of AASHTO, MDOT or ODOT, and local roadway design standards and will plan production procedures. This position also prefers that the candidate has 8 years of experience designing with both 2D and 3D elements of either Bentley OpenRoads Designer or AutoCAD Civil 3D. Experience should include both horizontal and vertical alignments, corridor modeling, and surface creation and grading. A flexible hybrid-remote work schedule is available after 30 days of employment.
