In this role, you will oversee the smolt trailer yard and ensure all smolt trailers and related equipment are properly maintained, inspected, and ready for seasonal smolt and fry deliveries. You will be responsible for keeping all trailers and supporting systems in excellent working conditions to ensure safe and efficient operations throughout the delivery seasons.</span></p><p><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\"><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></span></p><p><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">- Oversee the smolt trailer yard, ensuring oxygen systems, equipment, and access areas are safe and fully operational.</span></p><p><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">- Coordinate seasonal trailer inspections, including tanks, lighting, safety gear, generators, and oxygen delivery systems.</span></p><p><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">- Conduct and monitor daily checks, ensuring SOPs are followed, supplies are maintained, and minor repairs can be completed as needed.</span></p><p><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">- Supervise assigned crew members and support freshwater and marine teams in preparing vessels for smolt deliveries.</span></p><p><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">- Maintain adequate inventory and monitor bulk oxygen levels to support delivery schedules.</span></p><p><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\"><br></span></p><p><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\"><strong>Required Knowledge, Skill and Abilities</strong>&nbsp;</span></p><p><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.</span></p><p><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">- Ability to assess equipment and identify maintenance needs.</span></p><p><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">- Good communication and teamwork skills.</span></p><p><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">- Inventory control experience is an asset (training provided).</span></p><p><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\"><br></span></p><p><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\"><strong>The Opportunity</strong></span></p><p><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">This role offers the chance to grow, learn, and contribute to the success of Atlantic Canada&rsquo;s fastest-growing company.
