With the power of many curious minds, together we can solve the world’s most complex challenges and deliver more impact together.</p>\n<p style=\"margin-left:0in\"><strong>Role description:</strong></p>\n<p>Arcadis in Houston, TX is seeking an experienced<strong>&nbsp;Mechanical&nbsp;Engineer </strong>(heating, piping, tank, ventilating and air conditioning systems) for facilities to support our multidisciplinary Design and Engineering team.</p>\n<p>As a Mechanical Engineer, you will support the mechanical discipline within one of our key global clients and on multiple concurrent projects through pursuit, proposal, design, and construction phases. You will be responsible for design efforts. As a mechanical engineer, you will work with project teams consisting of architects, engineers, project managers and clients designing HVAC, piping and tanks systems on various &nbsp;sustainable solutions.</p>\n<p style=\"margin-left:0in\"><strong>Role accountabilities:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Prepare engineering and construction documents including drawings, specifications, and design narratives</li>\n <li>Proficiency with AutoCAD Revit and Load Calculation Software (Trane Trace, HAP)</li>\n <li>Travel as required to attend project meetings, design reviews, engineering site surveys, data collection, and collaboration with clients’ team members</li>\n <li>Knowledge of&nbsp;industry standards (ASHRAE) and building codes</li>\n <li>Assist in the preparation of engineering estimates and proposals</li>\n <li>Work within established budgets and schedules for each assignment</li>\n <li>Coordination with architects and other engineering disciplines</li>\n <li>Perform&nbsp;various system studies (thermal comfort, indoor air quality, humidity control, energy management)</li>\n <li>Work in a collaborative team environment</li>\n</ul>\n<p style=\"margin-left:0in\"><strong>Qualifications &amp; Experience:</strong></p>\n<p>Required Qualifications:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>BS in&nbsp;Mechanical&nbsp;Engineering or equivalent</li>\n <li>5+ or more years of relevant experience in Mechanical Engineering</li>\n <li>Design experience producing IFC drawings and specifications</li>\n <li>Demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills for effective internal and client interactions</li>\n <li>Exhibit the ability to organize and manage multiple project assignments</li>\n <li>Proven experience in collaborating with clients, contractors, and other consultants</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Preferred Qualifications:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>FE / EIT Certification, or PE&nbsp;</li>\n</ul>\n<p style=\"margin-left:0in\">Why Arcadis?</p>\n<p style=\"margin-left:0in\">We can only achieve our goals when everyone is empowered to be their best.
