    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p><strong>Position Summary&nbsp;</strong></p>\n<p>We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Pharmacy Consultant that is responsible for leading healthcare customers through the development, optimization, and implementation of drug libraries for smart infusion pump systems with dose error reduction software (DERS), as well as supporting IV-EHR (Intravenous Electronic Health Record) integration initiatives. This role partners with pharmacy leadership, nursing, IT, and clinical stakeholders at mid- to large-sized health systems to ensure safe, compliant, and efficient medication administration workflows.</p>\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\n<p><strong>Essential Duties &amp; Responsibilities</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Collaborate with customer cross-functional teams to design, configure and validate drug libraries associated with smart infusion pumps with DERS, ensuring optimal functionality and alignment with clinical workflows.</li>\n <li>Oversee end-to-end drug library development for smart infusion pump implementations.</li>\n <li>Collaborate with customer pharmacy leadership to standardize medication concentrations, dosing limits, and infusion parameters aligned with institutional policies and evidence-based practice.</li>\n <li>Co-lead multidisciplinary drug library review sessions.</li>\n <li>Recommend drug library governance model development and long-term maintenance strategies.</li>\n <li>Partner with cross-functional teams, including Nursing, Project Management, IT, and operational stakeholders, to ensure seamless project execution and adherence to timelines.</li>\n <li>Build and maintain strong relationships with key client stakeholders, addressing challenges, and providing expert guidance to achieve client satisfaction and project goals.</li>\n <li>Provide insights and recommendations on medication safety practices and infusion pump programming to enhance patient safety and outcomes.</li>\n <li>Lead advanced training sessions for pharmacy and clinical staff, ensuring effective adoption and utilization of the safety software and infusion pumps.</li>\n <li>Troubleshoot and resolve complex clinical issues during implementations, leveraging expertise to minimize disruptions.</li>\n <li>Identify opportunities to refine implementation processes and tools, contributing to the development of best practices for the organization.</li>\n <li>Provide regular updates to internal and external stakeholders, highlighting project status, risks, and resolutions.</li>\n <li>Aptitude to evaluate professional literature and understand the application of statistics.</li>\n <li>Possess strong communication, organizational, critical thinking and collaborative skills.&nbsp;They must be self-learners and possess the ability to teach others.</li>\n <li>Understand healthcare trends and healthcare improvement initiatives and articulate the role that ICU Medical solutions play within those initiatives.</li>\n <li>Ability to effectively present to groups of clinicians and possess the professional acumen to interact effectively with senior hospital clinical leadership.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Collaborate with R&amp;D and Upstream Marketing teams as implementation subject matter expert during the new product development lifecycle.</li>\n</ul>\n<p style=\"margin-left:0.5in\">&nbsp;</p>\n<p><strong>Knowledge &amp; Skills</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.</li>\n <li>Advanced project management capabilities.</li>\n <li>Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.</li>\n <li>Self-motivated and skilled at working independently.</li>\n <li>Advanced computer skills required: MS Word, MS Excel, and PowerPoint&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Strong knowledge of infusion pump workflows, medication safety protocols, and clinical informatics. Experience with safety software and interoperability in healthcare environments is required.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\n<p><strong>Minimum Qualifications, Education &amp; Experience&nbsp;</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Must be at least 18 years of age</li>\n <li>Bachelor’s or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree required; advanced certifications in medication safety or informatics preferred.</li>\n <li>Minimum of 3 years of experience in pharmacy operations, with at least 2 years in a consulting or implementation role involving infusion pumps and safety software.</li>\n <li>Must have an active Pharmacy license in at least one state in the U.S.</li>\n <li>Hospital pharmacy management/clinical supervisory position or clinical consulting desired</li>\n <li>Acute care hospital and/ or clinical experience preferred.&nbsp; Experience in the field of pharmacy informatics is highly desirable.&nbsp;</li>\n</ul>\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\n<p><strong>Work Environment</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>This is largely a sedentary role.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>This job operates in a professional office environment and routinely uses standard office equipment.</li>\n <li>Typically requires travel 20-50% of the time</li>\n</ul>\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\n<p>&nbsp;</p>",
