    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p>Worthington Enterprises is looking for a hard-working student to assist its transportation and supply chain functions at our manufacturing facility in Closter, NJ. This internship will provide hands-on <strong>experience in understanding end-to-end supply chain operations, including freight, tariffs, and their impact on product cost and availability</strong>.</p>\n<p>This position is a 40-hour-per-week, in-office role throughout the summer. This position does not offer relocation or a housing stipend.</p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Prepare data and insights for monthly meetings with the Sales organization, focusing on customer demand, service levels, and supply chain performance</li>\n <li>Support the team with analysis for monthly S&amp;OP (Sales &amp; Operations Planning) meetings, including demand planning and supply balancing</li>\n <li>Analyze freight costs, tariffs, and logistics-related charges to understand their impact on product cost and delivery performance</li>\n <li>Assist in evaluating inventory levels, lead times, and supplier performance to improve supply chain efficiency</li>\n <li>Work cross-functionally with manufacturing, procurement, logistics, and finance teams to understand the full product lifecycle</li>\n <li>Help improve visibility into key supply chain metrics, including cost drivers, service levels, and operational efficiency</li>\n <li>Support pricing and cost-to-serve analysis by incorporating logistics and supply chain inputs</li>\n <li>Perform various ad hoc supply chain and operations analysis tasks</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Desired Experience:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Pursuing a degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Business, Finance, or a related field</li>\n <li>Strong interest in manufacturing, logistics, and end-to-end supply chain operations</li>\n <li>Familiarity with purchase orders (POs), inventory management, and transportation/logistics concepts</li>\n <li>Analytical mindset with strong Excel/data skills</li>\n <li>Immediate and ongoing availability</li>\n <li>2–3 years of previous internship or relevant experience preferred</li>\n</ul>",
