From first idea to certified product to serial manufacturing, you own the technical story end-to-end and make sure what we build truly deserves to go to space.</div><div style=\"text-align:left;\"><br></div><div style=\"text-align:left;\"><strong>The Why:</strong> Space doesn’t forgive weak products — and the market doesn’t wait for them. At Blackwave, we are developing the next generation of space tanks to conquer the space industry. This role is where <strong>market insight meets engineering reality</strong>: you make sure we build the right products for the right use cases, not just good ones - and you bring them to life fast.</div><div style=\"text-align:left;\"><br></div><strong>This is a structural-hardware-focused systems engineering role (not software/electronics). We are building structural spaceflight hardware (COPVs), and are looking for engineers with experience in mechanical structures, composites, or pressure vessels.</strong><br><br><div style=\"text-align:left;\"><strong>YOUR TASKS</strong></div><ul><li style=\"text-align:left;\"><strong>Turn ideas into real products: </strong>Take market needs and opportunities and turn them into clear system concepts and requirements that engineering teams can build from.</li><li style=\"text-align:left;\"><strong>Own the product end-to-end: </strong>Be accountable for the technical definition of the product throughout its entire life — from early concepts and trade-offs to launch and long-term support.</li><li style=\"text-align:left;\"><strong>Guide the tough calls: </strong>Serve as the technical north star for the team. Review designs, question assumptions, and make thoughtful engineering decisions across disciplines.</li><li style=\"text-align:left;\"><strong>Release with confidence: </strong>Lead documentation, qualification, and technical release activities to ensure products are reliable, compliant, and ready for real-world use.</li><li style=\"text-align:left;\"><strong>Manage change in a scale up environment:</strong> Drive technical changes thoughtfully, balancing speed, risk, and reliability as products grow and evolve.</li><li style=\"text-align:left;\"><strong>Bring teams together: </strong>Work closely with product management and project management roles and collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Sales and customers to develop the best product for the market.</li></ul>"

      "value": "<ul><li><strong>Engineering Foundation:</strong> Degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a comparable technical field — you speak fluent engineering.</li><li><strong>Product Builder Experience:</strong> 2+ years of hands-on experience in product development within an industrial environment. You’ve helped bring real hardware to market, not just ideas.</li><li><strong>Expertise with aerospace structures:</strong> Proven experience working on <strong>structural aerospace systems or components (not purely software/electronics)</strong> from concept to production.</li><li><strong>System Thinker:</strong> Broad technical and interdisciplinary understanding (structures, composites, space systems, manufacturing processes). You naturally think in systems, interfaces, and trade-offs.</li><li><strong>Market-to-Tech Translator:</strong> Experience (or strong intuition) in turning market needs into concrete technical requirements is a big plus.</li><li><strong>Ownership Mentality:</strong> You take responsibility end-to-end, make decisions, and stand behind them — reliability and product safety always come first.</li><li><strong>Startup Energy:</strong> Practical, curious, and comfortable with ambiguity.
