We provide a full range of industrial facilities maintenance and process maintenance services.</p>\n<h2>Job Summary</h2>\n<p>MOR PPM Inc. is seeking Welder/Fabricators in Aiken, SC.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Essential Duties and Responsibilities:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Read blueprints to craft and fabricate tire manufacturing equipment and components</li>\n <li>Repair equipment as needed; replace faulty equipment</li>\n <li>Diagnose and troubleshoot faulty equipment and components</li>\n <li>Weld using mig, tig, or stick</li>\n <li>Operate lifts and cranes to install equipment and components</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Experience:</strong></p>\n<p>2+ years experience welding/fabricating is required. 2 years industrial maintenance experience, preferred. Technical training preferred but not required. Pipe fitting experience preferred.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Qualifications & Skills:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Possess the ability to use the English language to communicate (both verbally and in writing) accurately and concisely on technical matters</li>\n <li>Read and interpret blueprints, mechanical drawings</li>\n <li>Valid drivers license</li>\n <li>Proficient in GTAW/GMAW/FCAW and acetylene welding</li>\n <li>Basic set of hand tools is required</li>\n <li>Ability to proficiently operate power tools used for metal fabrication</li>\n <li>Ability to work at heights and manipulate tools in small spaces</li>\n <li>Interpersonal skills such as oral, verbal and written communication and reasoning is required.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Physical Requirements/Job Site Requirements:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>May be required to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds</li>\n <li>Must posses enough strength and stamina to perform the technical duties and essential functions as identified above</li>\n <li>Must be able to move in and around confided spaces and uneven areas</li>\n <li>Must have full range of motion consistent with age</li>\n <li>Must be able to climb and maintain balance ladders</li>\n <li>Must be able to adequately hear and respond to voice commands and alerts from other employees, alarms and other job-related noises</li>\n <li>Visual acuity, depth perception and color discrimination consistent with that required to work at heights and on uneven surfaces</li>\n <li>Safety/Steel toe shoes are required. </li>\n</ul>\n<p>#ppm</p>\n<h2>Equal Opportunity Employer</h2>As a leading provider of mechanical and electrical construction, facilities services, and energy infrastructure, we offer employees a competitive salary and benefits package and we are always looking for individuals with the talent and skills required to contribute to our continued growth and success.
