Supervise inventory and maintenance of the department’s trumpet equipment. Rehearse and perform as Principal Trumpet with the resident Bryan Symphony Orchestra and Brass Arts Quintet. Administer all aspects of the Tennessee Tech trumpet program. Recruitment of students (especially trumpet majors). Teach Brass Techniques for MUED majors. Other responsibilities, such as classroom instruction in core music courses, may be assigned as determined by the candidate’s qualifications and departmental needs. Build and maintain professional relationships with public school music teachers. Be an active participant in the School of Music.
