We provide leading‐edge conveyor and sortation systems, voice and light‐directed order fulfillment equipment, controls and software, robotics, mezzanines, and structures.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>If you want to join a team of industry leading experts and who want to create an impact on the future of material handling solutions, we want to hear from you!</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong>Position Summary</strong></p>\n<p>The Roller Assembler completes assembly and packaging processes according to established operating procedures.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities include but are not limited to:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Performing assembly based on drawings and supervisor instructions </li>\n <li>Following supervisors’ instructions of work to be performed </li>\n <li>Performing self-inspection of work to ensure quality and compliance to specifications </li>\n <li>Using computer to record assembly status </li>\n <li>Following safety instructions and rules </li>\n <li>Working overtime and assigned shifts as needed </li>\n <li>Employees are responsible for complying with all requirements of Daifuku’s QMS policies and procedures. </li>\n <li>Employees are to ensure sustainable process outputs that drive continuous improvement to provide leading industry performance and exceptional customer satisfaction </li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Education and Experience Requirements:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>High School diploma or equivalent preferred</li>\n <li>Minimum of 1 year of machine assembly experience</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Knowledge, Skills, and Responsibilities Requirements:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Ability to read and understand complex assembly drawings and blueprints </li>\n <li>Basic computer knowledge </li>\n <li>Knowledge of hand tools, and power tools </li>\n <li>Knowledge of quality assurance and self-inspection techniques </li>\n <li>Good verbal communication skills </li>\n <li>Self-motivated and detail-oriented </li>\n <li>Team orientation </li>\n <li>Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>ADA Requirements:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>Medium work:</strong> Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move object.</li>\n <li><strong>Stooping:</strong> Bending body downward and forward by bending spine at the waist. This factor is important if it occurs to a considerable degree and requires full use of the lower extremities and back muscles.</li>\n <li><strong>Kneeling: </strong>Bending legs at knee to come to a rest on knee or knees.</li>\n <li><strong>Crouching: </strong>Bending the body downward and forward by bending leg and spine.</li>\n <li><strong>Reaching:</strong> Extending hand(s) and arm(s) in any direction.</li>\n <li><strong>Standing:</strong> Remaining upright on the feet, particularly for sustained periods of time.</li>\n <li><strong>Walking:</strong> Moving about on foot to accomplish tasks, particularly for long distances or moving from one work site to another.</li>\n <li><strong>Lifting:</strong> Raising objects from a lower to a higher position or moving objects horizontally from position to-position. This factor is important if it occurs to a considerable degree and requires the substantial use of the upper extremities and back muscles.</li>\n <li><strong>Fingering:</strong> Picking, pinching, typing or otherwise working, primarily with fingers rather than with whole hand or arm as in handling.</li>\n <li><strong>Grasping:</strong> Applying pressure to an object with the fingers and palm.</li>\n <li><strong>Feeling:</strong> Perceiving attributes of objects, such as size, shape, temperature or texture by touching with skin, particularly that of fingertips.</li>\n <li><strong>Talking:</strong> Expressing or exchanging ideas by means of the spoken word; those activities where detailed or important spoken instructions must be conveyed to other workers accurately, loudly, or quickly.</li>\n <li><strong>Hearing:</strong> Perceiving the nature of sounds at normal speaking levels with or without correction, and having the ability to receive detailed information through oral communication, and making fine discriminations in sound.</li>\n <li><strong>Visual:</strong> The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading; visual inspection involving small defects, small parts, and/or operation of machines (including inspection); using measurement devices; and/or assembly or fabrication of parts at distances close to the eyes. </li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Job Conditions:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>The worker is subject to</strong> <strong>inside environmental conditions:</strong> Protection from weather conditions but not necessarily from temperature changes.</li>\n <li><strong>The worker is subject to hazards:</strong> Includes a variety of physical conditions, such as proximity to moving mechanical parts, moving vehicles, electrical current, working on scaffolding and high places, exposure to high heat or exposure to chemicals.</li>\n <li><strong>The worker is subject to atmospheric conditions:</strong> One or more of the following conditions that affect the respiratory system of the skin: Fumes, odors, dusts, mists, gases or poor ventilation.</li>\n <li><strong>The worker is subject to oils:</strong> There is air and/or skin exposure to oils and other cutting fluids.</li>\n <li><strong>The worker is required to:</strong> function in narrow aisles or passageways.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>#LI-DNP</p>",
