We specialize in a full range of new and retrofit construction for industrial, food processing, commercial, institutional, healthcare, pharmaceutical, and bio-fuel projects.</p>\n<h2>Job Summary</h2>\n<p>Shambaugh & Son is seeking a Fabricator for the Fire Fabrication Shop. In this position you will be responsible for fabricating pipe for fire protection systems.</p>\n<p>#shambaugh #ppf #LI-TS #LI-onsite</p>\n<h2>Essential Duties & Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Use various machinery</li>\n <li>Study and interpret assembly instructions</li>\n <li>Listen to directions from supervisors</li>\n <li>Fabricate and assemble pipe per instructions</li>\n <li>Read parts list and determine if all parts are present</li>\n <li>Assemble tools, materials, and various components</li>\n <li>Interpret measurements</li>\n <li>Verify specifications</li>\n <li>Ensure all parts are fitted and screwed in properly</li>\n <li>Resolve assembly and production issues, with managements assistance</li>\n <li>Troubleshoot malfunctions and perform repairs as needed</li>\n <li>Ensure working environment is clean and safe</li>\n <li>Report errors in production</li>\n <li>Other duties as assigned</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Read a tape measure down to a ¼”.</li>\n <li>Be dependable</li>\n <li>Good attendance and a positive attitude are critical for this position</li>\n <li>Good work ethic and a willingness to learn</li>\n <li>Must be able to communicate ideas, thoughts, etc. both verbally and in written form</li>\n <li>Must be able to work Saturday (will count against attendance record if missed).</li>\n <li>Must be 18 years or older</li>\n <li>Attention to detail</li>\n <li>Ability to follow directions and communicate with others</li>\n <li>Ability to push, pull, or lift up to 50 lbs regularly</li>\n <li>Ability to stand, bend, twist, and walk for 8-12 hour shifts</li>\n <li>Regular and reliable attendance, including the ability to work extended hours and weekends as required</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Equal Opportunity Employer</h2>As a leading provider of mechanical and electrical construction, facilities services, and energy infrastructure, we offer employees a competitive salary and benefits package and we are always looking for individuals with the talent and skills required to contribute to our continued growth and success.
