    "requisitionDescription": "<p data-pasted=\"true\"><strong>Summary:&nbsp;</strong>The Director of Residential Recovery Services is responsible for ensuring the overall quality management and clinical operations of the 4 SMOC Residential Rehabilitation Services (Sage House, Serenity House, COE House, and Rhodes to Recovery). This role will ensure the programs are meeting contractual requirements and provide clinical and administrative supervision to the assigned Directors. The position will provide strategic leadership and guide the delivery of services, as well as ensure that the programs operate within state regulated clinical standards, and uphold the mission of the agency.</p><p><strong>Why Work for SMOC?</strong></p><ul><li>Paid Time Off: All full-time employees can accrue up to 3 weeks of vacation, and 2 weeks of sick time and are eligible for 12 paid holidays during their first year of employment.</li><li>Employer-paid Life Insurance &amp; AD&amp;D and Long-Term Disability for full-time employees.</li><li>Comprehensive Benefits Package including Medical Plans through Mass General Brigham with an HRA Employer cost-sharing program, Dental Plans with Orthodontic Coverage, and EyeMed Vision Insurance available to full-time employees.</li><li>403(B) Retirement Plan with a company match starting on day one for all full-time and part-time employees.</li><li>Additional voluntary benefits including; Term and Whole Life Insurance, Accident Insurance, Critical Illness, Hospital indemnity, and Short-Term Disability.</li><li>Flexible Spending Accounts, Dependent Care Accounts, Employee Assistance Program, Tuition Reimbursement and more.</li></ul><p><strong>Primary Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Ensure compliance with program/department, agency and or funder requirements - this includes quality standards of practice, billing, documentation, and service delivery.</li><li>In coordination with the SMOC Training Manager, track participation in training on the most current practices for treatment, diagnosis and interventions for clinical staff, as well as subject matter training and safety protocols.</li><li>Co-facilitate trainings and provide weekly group supervision at each site.</li><li>Provide weekly individual clinical and administrative supervision, additionally in group settings, as necessary, for RRS Clinical Directors.</li><li>Ensure that performance concerns are addressed in a timely manner, and that annual performance reviews are conducted with all employees.</li><li>Provide guidance and de- escalation during urgent or emergency situations with individual clinicians and clients.</li><li>Participate in quality improvement planning and action with entire management team.</li><li>Work closely with billing team including our contracted service partner to ensure clinical programs meet billing and documentation requirements as required by payors and state agencies. Monitor weekly billing and claims reports and assist in correcting billing issues.</li><li>Regularly review program data and continuously improve client care by monitoring access to care and intake needs, follow up, no shows, lengths of treatment, discharges and outcomes.</li><li>Assist programs with connecting to internal and external housing resources to facilitate appropriate discharge and follow up care post-graduation.</li><li>Provide oversight and guidance as the subject matter expert for the electronic health record.</li><li>Oversee systems for confidentiality of client, employee and agency records and PHI in accordance with federal and state laws and funder requirements.</li><li>Participate in the relicensing process ensuring consistency with all BSAS and DPH requirements.</li><li>Work with internal and external partners to improve cultural responsiveness, including federal and state agencies as well as community organizations.</li><li>Review and develop policies and procedures that reflect regulations, ensure clarity of procedures, enhance clinical practice and support fiscal viability.</li><li>Help promote an environment for all staff that promotes job satisfaction, client care, team collaboration, positive morale and staff engagement.</li><li>Assist with recruiting - manage, develop and evaluate staff by providing timely mentoring, training and performance management.</li><li>In collaboration with the Medical Director, responsible for the design, development, implementation and ongoing maintenance of Utilization Review process for all clinical services.</li><li>Engage all clients by understanding and addressing their needs whether within or outside the scope of work.</li><li>Other duties as assigned.</li></ul><p><strong>Knowledge and Skill Requirements:</strong></p><ul><li>LICSW or LMHC with 3 years post licensure experience.</li><li>Minimum five years of full-time clinical experience subsequent to obtaining a Masters degree, of which at least 2 years must have been in a management/leadership capacity.</li><li>Experience providing both short and long-term treatment to individuals in residential and outpatient settings, i.e., mental health clinic, day treatment program, residential program, and substance abuse program.</li><li>Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.</li><li>Knowledge of managed care practices.</li><li>Familiar with public sector system and services.</li></ul><p><strong>Organizational Relationship:&nbsp;</strong></p><ul><li>Directly reports to Division Director, SMOC Behavioral Health.&nbsp;</li><li>Direct reports of this position are 4 Residential Program Directors and 4 Clinical Directors.</li></ul><p><strong>Physical Requirement:&nbsp;</strong>Frequent travel to the sites and dependable transportation is required.</p><p><strong>Working Conditions:</strong> As part of the responsibilities of this position, the Director, Residential Recovery and Addiction Services will have direct or incidental contact with clients served by SMOC in various programs funded or administered through the Executive Office of Health and Human Services. Some travel within MetroWest and Worcester County is required. The Program sites are Framingham and Millbury. Dress is business casual.</p><p><strong>Hybrid Work Option:&nbsp;</strong>Hybrid work is permissible in some positions at SMOC depending on the key functions and responsibilities. The Director, Residential Recovery Programs position is eligible to work from home <strong>0-40%</strong> of the week in scheduling coordination with the department manager.</p>\n<br/>Monday through Friday: 9:00AM - 5:00PM. Includes a 1-hour unpaid lunch break.<br/>35 Hours per week.",
