    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>Serves as the primary quality assurance representative for construction, fabrication, and maintenance projects within the Permian Basin. This role is responsible for ensuring contractor and supplier work complies with applicable industry codes, project specifications, and quality requirements throughout all phases of construction and installation.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Promote safety within area of specialty</li>\n <li>Monitor contractor activities to assure construction and fabrication is conducted in accordance with relevant specifications.</li>\n <li>Provide expert advice to Construction/Maintenance Supervisors and Foreman in inspection and testing for disciplines such as welding, coating, civil works, piping, pressure vessel and tank fabrication, equipment installations and Non-Destructive Testing (NDT)</li>\n <li>Assist contractors and suppliers with development and improvements to quality control and inspection activities including Inspection and Test Plans.</li>\n <li>Review and evaluate Contractor and Supplier quality documents for accuracy and adequacy.</li>\n <li>Participate in Mechanical Completion walkdowns, PSSR walkdowns, Factory Acceptance Tests (FATs), final inspection release activities, review of supplier Quality Control documents and support closure of punch list items</li>\n <li>Keep Quality supervision and functional supervision informed of significant quality issues and updated with status of quality issues.</li>\n <li>Develop and deliver inspection reports, quality incident reports and Nonconformance reports as required by Quality Supervision.</li>\n <li>Assure that contractor quality documents, data and records are maintained and delivered as required.</li>\n <li>Provide early warning of potential quality problems and promote solutions to mitigate and prevent re-occurrence.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Minimum 10 years’ experience in Quality and/or Inspection with major oil and gas projects is required.</li>\n <li>Ability to deal with high stress situations with calm and measured professionalism is required</li>\n <li>Current or previous certification as AWS Certified Welding Inspector is required.</li>\n <li>Willing and able to travel to the field and/or shop locations to perform monitoring and quality assurance tasks asrequired by Quality Supervision.</li>\n <li>Current or previous certification (ACCP/NACE) coating inspector certification is preferred.</li>\n <li>Current or previous certification(s) in Non-Destructive testing techniques (RT, UT, PT, MT) is preferred.</li>\n <li>Must meet conditional job offer requirements.</li>\n</ul>",
