    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p style=\"margin-left:0in\"><strong><u>POSITION SUMMARY</u></strong></p>\n<p>Vertiv – STL Austin, Texas is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead day-to-day assembly operations in a fast-paced, evolving manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for ensuring safety, quality, delivery, and productivity within the STL assembly area while supporting production ramp and process stabilization.</p>\n<p>The Production Supervisor will serve as the front-line leader for production teams, driving execution of manufacturing processes, developing operators, and ensuring alignment with defined operational and global AME standards. This role plays a critical part in establishing stable, repeatable production during early-stage manufacturing and ongoing operations.</p>\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\n<p><strong>RESPONSIBILITIES:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>Production Execution &amp; Performance Management</strong>\n  <ul>\n   <li>Lead daily production operations, ensuring safety, quality, delivery, and productivity targets are met</li>\n   <li>Monitor production performance (output, cycle time, quality, schedule adherence) and take immediate action to address gaps</li>\n   <li>Drive execution of production plans, adjusting staffing and priorities as needed to meet changing demand and conditions</li>\n   <li>Communicate daily production status, risks, and recovery plans to leadership</li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li><strong>Production Ramp &amp; Process Stabilization</strong>\n  <ul>\n   <li>Support early-stage production ramp, including stabilization of processes, workforce, and output</li>\n   <li>Identify and escalate production issues, partnering with Manufacturing Engineering to resolve root causes</li>\n   <li>Ensure consistent execution of defined processes, even in evolving or changing conditions</li>\n   <li>Drive actions to recover production shortfalls and meet customer commitments</li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li><strong>Team Leadership &amp; Workforce Development</strong>\n  <ul>\n   <li>Directly supervise and develop hourly production employees (assemblers, testers, operators, etc.)</li>\n   <li>Provide coaching, feedback, and training to improve performance and reinforce standard work</li>\n   <li>Promote a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement</li>\n   <li>Foster two-way communication and maintain strong engagement within the team</li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li><strong>Safety &amp; Quality Ownership</strong>\n  <ul>\n   <li>Enforce all safety and environmental regulations and ensure safe work practices are consistently followed</li>\n   <li>Ensure adherence to quality standards and procedures</li>\n   <li>Identify, escalate, and support resolution of quality issues in production</li>\n   <li>Reinforce proper use of work instructions and standard operating procedures</li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li><strong>Operational Coordination &amp; Cross-Functional Alignment</strong>\n  <ul>\n   <li>Partner with Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, and Operations teams to address process, equipment, and production issues</li>\n   <li>Coordinate activities across departments to ensure smooth production flow</li>\n   <li>Support implementation of process improvements, new equipment, and operational changes</li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li><strong>Planning &amp; Scheduling</strong>\n  <ul>\n   <li>Develop and maintain work schedules and production plans to meet customer demand</li>\n   <li>Adjust schedules and manpower allocation based on production needs and changing priorities</li>\n   <li>Maintain visibility to capacity constraints and escalate risks as needed</li>\n  </ul></li>\n</ul>\n<p style=\"margin-left:0in\"><strong><u>QUALIFICATIONS</u></strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>Required</strong>\n  <ul>\n   <li>5+ years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment</li>\n   <li>2+ years of experience in a supervisory or leadership role preferred (or demonstrated leadership capability)</li>\n   <li>Experience supporting production ramp, new product introduction (NPI), or early-stage manufacturing environments</li>\n   <li>Proven ability to manage production teams in a fast-paced, changing environment</li>\n   <li>Strong problem-solving skills and ability to drive action to resolve production issues</li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li><strong>Preferred</strong>\n  <ul>\n   <li>Experience in assembly-based manufacturing environments</li>\n   <li>Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles</li>\n   <li>\n    <p>Experience working with ERP/MRP systems</p>\n    <p>&nbsp;</p></li>\n  </ul></li>\n</ul>\n<p style=\"margin-left:0in\"><strong><u>Education And Certifications:</u></strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Manufacturing, Electrical or Industrial Engineering</li>\n</ul>\n<p style=\"margin-left:1in\">&nbsp;</p>\n<p style=\"margin-left:0in\"><strong><u>PHYSICAL &amp;
