Join us in making a real difference in the health of our community.</em></p>\n<h2>Job Summary</h2>\n<p>We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Neurology Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our dynamic team. In this role, you’ll play a vital part in delivering comprehensive Neurology care to patients, working closely with an interdisciplinary team in both long-term care and acute settings.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>This is a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of patients while growing professionally within a supportive, mission-driven environment.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p>• Provide neurology consults for residents with neurological conditions </p>\n<p>• Evaluate and manage conditions including stroke, Parkinson’s disease, seizures, neuropathy, dementia, and movement disorders </p>\n<p>• Perform neurological examinations and cognitive assessments </p>\n<p>• Order and interpret diagnostic tests including imaging and lab studies </p>\n<p>• Manage neurologic medications and treatment plans </p>\n<p>• Collaborate with neurologists and interdisciplinary teams </p>\n<p>• Educate patients and caregivers about neurological conditions and treatment adherence </p>\n<p>• Maintain EMR documentation and regulatory compliance</p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p>• Minimum of 6 months of experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing facility (Hospital/outpatient office experience will also be considered) </p>\n<p>• Active and unrestricted NP license </p>\n<p>• DEA license required </p>\n<p>• CPR certification (BCLS/BLS) </p>\n<p>• Master’s degree in Nursing (NP applicants) </p>\n<p>• Graduation from an accredited NP program • Preferred: Experience in Neurology (training available if not) </p>\n<p>• Preferred: Familiarity with EMR systems (e.g., Sigma, Visual, PCC – training provided) </p>\n<p>• Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills</p>\n<h2>Equal Opportunity Employer</h2>\n<p><strong><em>Essen Health care is proud to be an equal opportunity employer, and we seek candidates who desire to work in and serve an ethnically diverse population.</em></strong></p>",
