The Opportunity The Advocacy & Strategic Initiatives Intern supports the Department of Advocacy and Strategic Initiatives by contributing to research, analysis, and policy-related efforts that inform decision-making and advance CFUF’s mission. This role provides hands-on experience in the policy research process, offering exposure to legislative tracking, data analysis, and the development of written policy materials. This internship is ideal for a highly motivated, detail-oriented student interested in public policy, research, and social impact. The Intern will play a meaningful role in supporting advocacy initiatives while gaining practical experience in a collaborative, mission-driven environment. Additionally, this position’s broader responsibilities include: Supporting policy research, data analysis, and issue-area exploration Monitoring legislative and regulatory developments Contributing to written materials, including briefs and reports Assisting with project coordination and administrative tracking Collaborating across teams to support advocacy and strategic initiatives Schedule Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, with occasional meetings or events. This internship opportunity has a 4-week term limit. Alternate scheduling arrangements may be considered based on any academic requirements.
