    "requisitionDescription": "<div><div><p><strong>Creative Dining Services is looking for a Catering Assistant in Colorado Springs.</strong>&nbsp; The Catering Assistant will assist the management team with the operational tasks associated with all scheduled catering events, and at times when catering demand is low, will assist in cashing guests out in the cafeteria during breakfast or lunch service. &nbsp;This role will be expected to work professionally and cooperatively to ensure excellence in customer service, attractive food presentation, and support sustainability and fiscal responsibility in accordance with company standards.</p><p><strong>Availability:&nbsp;</strong>Monday - Friday 6am to 3pm (no late nights, no weekends!)</p><p><strong>Essential Functions/Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Is responsible for execution of assigned catering events, to include setup and breakdown/cleanup.</li><li>Review scheduled catering events and works with the Catering Manager, Catering Supervisor, and Executive Chef to determine logistical needs, performs inventories and submits requests for products and equipment to be ordered and schedules appropriately.</li><li>Work with supervisors to ensure all catering equipment is properly returned to their correct place after each event.&nbsp;</li><li>Communicates with the Catering Manager regarding any complaints, problems, or compliments from customers or staff</li><li>Reports any maintenance or equipment needs to Catering Manager or Executive Chef.</li><li>Restock dining areas and cashier stations as appropriate.</li><li>Assist guests in purchasing their meals at the cash register</li></ul><p><strong>The Ideal Candidate Will Have:</strong></p><ul><li>High school diploma or equivalent</li><li>Two years of experience in food service or catering</li><li>Excellent communication and customer service skills</li><li>Cash handling and/or retail experience a plus</li></ul><p><strong>We Offer:</strong></p><ul><li data-pasted=\"true\">Medical/medical plan with HSA</li><li data-pasted=\"true\">Dental</li><li data-pasted=\"true\">Vision</li><li data-pasted=\"true\">401(k) with a generous company match</li><li data-pasted=\"true\">PTO, paid holidays&nbsp;</li><li>Quarterly bonus opportunities</li><li>Earned wage access - get paid daily (optional)</li><li>Employee Assistance Program with many free resources, discounts, etc.</li><li>And much, much more!</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>About Creative Dining Services</strong></p><p>Creative Dining Services partners with college, universities, Fortune 100 companies, full-service senior living communities, conference centers and K-12 schools and camps to provide a different kind of hospitality and facility management services experience &ndash; one that&rsquo;s fun, innovative, and focused on your community.
