Program Coordinator (Community Based Living)

At The Salvation Army, Developmental Disabilities Program (DDP), our Residential Program Coordinators are the leaders who make independence possible. You won’t just be supervising a team; you will be the primary advocate and architect of a supportive home life for adults with developmental disabilities. From ensuring top-tier care and safety to mentoring your staff, your leadership ensures our program’s individuals live with dignity and joy.

Responsibilities
What You’ll Bring to the Team
We are looking for a dedicated professional with a blend of administrative excellence and a heart for service.
The Essentials:
Education & Experience: An Associate’s Degree (or 60 credits) with 2 years of field experience, OR a High School Diploma/GED with 5 years of relevant field experience.
Technological Experience: Experience with Microsoft Office (Outlook & Word) and comfortable utilizing computers and other technologies including electric health record databases.
Regulatory Knowledge: A solid understanding of federal, state, and county regulations (6400) for adult developmental disability services.
Leadership Skills: The ability to supervise staff, manage schedules, and maintain a positive, high-quality work environment. This leadership position requires flexible availability based on scheduling and supervision for 24/7 residential operations. May be required to work nights and/or weekends.
Task Management: Ability to manage and track large amounts of information, including but not limited to medical appointments, financial information, staff schedules, petty cash and quality surveys.
Reliability: A valid Driver’s License with a good driving record, reliable vehicle and the ability to manage on-call responsibilities.
