We regularly review our compensation structures to ensure fairness and consistency across our organization. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Job Summary:</strong></p>\n<p>Surgical Services Aide is a valuable member of the surgical team. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, helping with turnovers, cleaning the OR's at the beginning and at the end of the day, assisting with picking cases, transporting patients, helping with anesthesia and materials as needed</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong>Essential Functions</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Removes or arranges for removal of safety hazards from environment immediately to prevent potential safety hazards from occurring</li>\n <li>Prioritizes and re-prioritizes work based on the changing needs of the customers</li>\n <li>Assists the Operating Room Team by setting up rooms for cases</li>\n <li>Picks cases for the next day accurately and thoroughly</li>\n <li>Cleans and disinfects instruments, cameras, scopes and light cords</li>\n <li>Assembles kits and instrument trays accurately and thoroughly</li>\n <li>Assists other members of the surgical team with terminal cleanup of room in readiness for the next patient, allowing for rapid turnover</li>\n <li>Assures that materials needed for room turnover are ordered and on hand</li>\n <li>Washes floors, walls, glass and furniture using appropriate cleaning solutions</li>\n <li>Cleans and stocks bathrooms, changing rooms and lounge daily and PRN</li>\n <li>Assists in the transfer of patients to and from the PACU and nursing units PRN</li>\n <li>Assists pre-operating by holding limbs for Operating Room preps as directed</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Statement of Duties:</strong>This document describes the major duties and responsibilities for this job, and is not intended to be a complete list of all tasks and functions.
