    "description": "<h2>Position Overview</h2>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>Department:</strong> Physical Rehab</li>\n <li><strong>Schedule:</strong> 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Monday - Friday (No weekends or Holidays) - Perform both aquatic and land based interventions</li>\n <li><strong>Work Location: </strong>UAB Medicine St. Vincent’s One Nineteen</li>\n <li><strong>Benefits for eligible positions only include:</strong> generous paid time off, paid parental leave, Associate Assistance Program, Tuition Reimbursement Program, and more </li>\n</ul>\n<h2>What You Will Do</h2>\n<p>Conduct medically prescribed physical therapy under the supervision of a physical therapist.</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Provide physical therapy interventions under a plan of care written by a physical therapist.</li>\n <li>Perform therapy interventions utilizing techniques and skills as appropriate for the patient population.</li>\n <li>Document treatment interventions given.</li>\n <li>May coordinate activities of physical therapy aides, students and other support personnel.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>What You Will Need</h2>\n<p>Licensure / Certification / Registration:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Currently licensed, eligible to be licensed or having a temporary license as a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) according to the rules and regulations of the Alabama Board of Physical Therapy required.</li>\n <li>BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Education:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Graduate from an accredited School of Physical Therapy Program required.
